I love this world, that as I am waking others are prepping for or in deep sleep. That all over the world things are happening and can be completely different!
When more than 2 inches fall, we get some waves down our arroyos(what you call ditches)

Fall begins here in my neck of the world, and it is wet (my desert has been flooding for a bit over 2 weeks now) and a bit chilly.
I adore the hot summer months!
Do you love the season you are in now?

I love the Fall season! My absolutely favorite b/c of the colors changing and vibrant colors. (And the weather is the most stable in the fall.)

I love fall, except for the big spiders it brings...

I know I know, don't think about them and STOP TALKING about them, Sarah... Bad bad... :hissy:giggle

Ah, the air felt a little cooler today. We picked apples on Saturday which always kind of kicks off fall for us. Love it! Can't wait to break out my boots.

Holy cow Anne! Those "waves" are crazy! Does your house stay dry during that craziness?

we live at the top of the hill, but at the bottom of the mountain. The good place. The arroyos or ditches bypass our area. Five blocks down, this is happening. Very sad, every monsoon season, the streets flood and destroy their yards, some garages and front foyer areas have damage.
The ditches are dangerous and a magnet to little boys, they go thru many tunnels too. Keeping my boys out when it is raining in the mountains is my fight! The water comes out before the rain arrives here! crazy!

I am totally a fall person. With a September birthday, it always meant going back to school and the fun of all my friends that I didn't see in the summer. I still feel like I should be able to get all new 'school' supplies and I at least get a new pen of some sort! I love this crisp air especially at night.

Looks like my neck of the woods... we had some MAJOR flooding a few weeks ago.. news worthy even lol

I love fall. We don't get many changing colors in AZ but the perfect weather and holidays are my favorite!

I am ready for some cooler temps here in Florida. This is the only time of year when I really miss living in Massachusetts. I love the change of colors and the feeling as the temperature starts to drop. Here in FL we go from unbearably hot to slightly less unbearably hot and that's about it.

I agree Anne - it always amazes me when I really sit and think about the differences and things going on in all different parts of the country! It's fun to see it when our kids realize it too - in just the simplest things! We have a Compassion Int'l child that we sponsor and we are very avid in writing back and forth to him (the girls call him their little brother), and they love to get his letters explaining what season he is in where he lives and then they tell him about snow - something he has never seen!

Here in MI we are right at the beginning of our fall season, and we a very typical true "fall" here - leaves change all beautiful colors (and lots of them), the air is brisk in the morning and evening, pumpkins abound - like out of the ground - not store bought or shipped in. I love fall in MI, but unfortunately that means winter is not far behind, and that I DREAD!!! Right now I am going to embrace the now though!

Hope you can embrace the rain and the waves coming down your roads - wow!

Its Spring here Down under!! And the Jacaranda trees are getting ready to flower ... they are stunning with their gorgeous purple flowers all over the city! I can't wait! Although I have been having some problems with allergies this Spring its not going to ruin the magic of the Jacarandas for me!!
