Ever win anything cool?

I'm trying to think back... I'm not the luckiest ever, but I've won a couple cool things.

When I was 19, I won $1100 in the lottery.

Once at a scrapbooking convention I won a huge thing of Technique Tuesday stamps and the binder and all. Few hundred dollars worth.

I've won a couple age group awards in races. Once I was first female master. IE: First old lady.

I won an awesome guest CT spot once, to the coolest site on the internet, and then they foolishly let me stay on. :giggle:yesss:beat

I think that's about it?
 
nah think i must be the most unluckiest person lol,cant even win a tin of beans in the raffle at slimming world
 
I won a portrait from a fast food restaurant when I was a kid. It was the most awkward family portrait EVER.

I think that's it? A few bills from a casino here and there.
 
I won at Poker once while playing against my husband and father-in-law. That was funny to see their faces as I took all of their coins. :giggle
 
Little things here & there but nothing big enough to brag about......until this Saturday night when I win the PowerBall! Well, someone has to win, right?!?!?!?! :D

When I started grad school, the program I was going into had an open house for new enrollee's, and they had a draw for money toward tuition. I won almost my entire first semester's worth of tuition...I think I just had to pay $100 or so.

That same weekend I won $75 on a scratch ticket.

Normally I win nothing, ever....so that was a good weekend.

And of course I won this month as a guest polly for doing all 7 challenges in June. Most awesome prize ever! I'm going to be so sad when September is over.
 
I have won some raffles and stuff but nothing too exciting except...

Winning $100 in scrapping goodies at just the best digital scrapbooking store ever! I love the stuff I won soooo much! That was the best prize ever! I get excited just thinking about it.
 
I won a Vic 20 computer in the early 80's after spelling Pepsi with bottle liners. I think that exact moment was the start of my computer nerd-dom.:compcoffee

Other than that, I don't think I have won anything of significance!
 
I won twice on the slot machines. Once in the Bahamas on our honeymoon - $3,000+. Paid for the trip. And then on my 40th birthday in Vegas. $1,500+. Again, paid for the trip.

Let's just not talk about all the times in between when trips were definitely NOT paid for ...

Oh, and I won Tim McGraw tickets for the Puyallup fair when he first started out. that was actually rather cool. Radio contest, and I was brilliant.
 
I once won a dvd/vcr combo from a contest at work... the prize gives you an idea how long ago that was! Surprisingly it still works and we use it to let the kids watch old Disney VHS tapes.
 
I've one some money playing slots. I bought my first good digital point and shoot with my winnings!
 
Oh please, those prizes pale in comparison to what I've won.

When I was 13, I won a DeBarge album off a radio station. Yes, I said album.

Best. Prize. Ever.

I had some crazy luck for small blog give-aways for a while... and I "won" a scholarship for college, but I like to think that I "earned" that too. Not so much "luck"... because I usually don't have any luck.

Oh! I won $5 in Vegas last year.

And then lost it at the next machine.
 
I won a Britax Frontier 85 for my son from a blog giveaway! That was pretty exciting for me.
 
Oooh I won a pair of Xterra running shoes on FB once, and a running skirt (2 different contests).

That reminds me I won concert tickets from a local radio station once too!
 
the only things I can remember being totally excited about winning are a TLP guest gig and the awesome $50 GC for the 5000 fan promo, again TLP haha .... I am seeing a theme to my winning ;)
 
I won a free day of a housekeeping service once on a radio station call-in game.

And within my family I am the official "Shower game winner". Baby showers, wedding showers, etc....I am the queen of winning the candle, body lotion or picture frame for whatever silly game we play. :winner

Oh and I was Homecoming Queen in Junior High :queen
 
I don't recall winning many things in life, but I did win my favorite ever camera strap by Cotton Candy by Natalie - on her blog once (or facebook comment I think). I am due for another strap though, as I have kind of worn mine out!
