Now that Isaac has made its landing, it looks like much of the central & eastern USA either got some rain or will be getting something from the system. We were in an extreme drought but as of this morning.....we received about 5 inches of rain and the burn bans have been lifted!!!! Yea!

Just curious how many of us either got some rain or will be getting rain this weekend. Heck, it's a 3-day weekend!

We have rain forecast all weekend. We were hoping to replace the rear brake pads and rotors on our car today but it looks like it's going to have to wait a couple of days. At least Monday is a holiday and DH is off...hoping it clears up by then!

We have rain in the forecast for today and tomorrow. We are suppose to have a soccer game this afternoon and so far the rain has held off...tomorrow we are suppose to go to a cookout...we'll see!

Girllllll I was praying for some rain while I was running today! It was so oppressively humid!!!

Isaac has almost made his way here, but I don't think we will get a ton of rain out of it.

What Angie said. It has been so long since we had rain that I have forgotten what it looks and smells like. Doing a little rain dance now!

We got the rain earlier in the week. But then again here in Florida I swear it rains every afternoon.

it's been raining in central indiana for much of the day... started around midday and has been nice and steady since then. they're saying tomorrow is supposed to be potential for quite a bit more, possibly flooding in low-lying areas. we have lots of rivers & tributaries around this area, so high water often finds its way above ground. we've needed the rain for months though, so i'm not complaining!!

I'm not in Isaac's path, but we had one heck of a thunderstorm this morning that knocked the power out. So unfortunately I was sporting a wet ponytail to my little sisters wedding - she got married today. At least I wasn't the one in the spotlight :)
We've got another storm rolling in tonight.

Looks like we'll get some today. Which I don't mind because I really need to clean the house!

We don't live in the US so not affected by Isaac, but we did have rain this weekend.

It's been wonderful so far this weekend. We had a lot of rain earlier last week which kept everything green. I don't mind it so much. Thinking about everyone in Isaac's path.

We got rain from Isaac before it made landfall. But as for this weekend...well, we typically always have a 30% chance of rain here in FL. Usually it rains anywhere between 3-5pm or 7-9pm.
