Ok....let me first say that I really do LOVE my family but dang....they are nasty! LOL. DH & DS3 went to camp to pick up the camper and I hit cleaning mode before they left the driveway! I even ran out of Soft Scrub but remembered I pinned a homemade recipe for some and let me tell ya.....it freakin' works and smells just like it too! My bathrooms are clean & sparkling!!!! And yes...it's been way too long!

How often do you get into a cleanup mood! I'm getting a super workout & it feels good!

well right around my period!! LOL... I do clean weekly, but not as good as I should with Lina running around all the time. I also work partime and well, sometimes just don't feel like cleaning when I could be out playing with Lina or scrapping...esp when she takes her nap. I mean I just need some me-time too, hehe. Lucky me, my DH gets to clean to...he's the one to keep the kitchen clean, dishwasher, bathroom & toilet. We vacuum twice a week, once me & once my DH...and more if needed. As for washing the floor... I hate it, cause I'm too perfect (with any cleaning BTW) and it sometimes sucks. We've got a wooden floor and every now & then, stripes stay behind on the floor...aaack!!! Anyways... I really do not cleaning, unless my period is coming up! haha

Everything smells sparkly clean and fresh... anytime we have company. Other than that, kitchen is always clean but bathrooms are hit or miss with SCRUBBING. I'm allergic to dust so don't do that very often, mostly when I can shame my son into it. I love automatic shower cleaners, makes me feel a little better. As for vacuuming, I just hate it! I'm much more likely to pick up the visible cat/dog hair wads than break out the vacuum every few days. The dog goes nuts barking at it and it really steps on my last nerve every time! That's probably once a week or 10 days. I do sweep or swiffer the kitchen and other hard floors more often than that because the little bits of cat litter drives me nuts to step on.

I barely ever get into cleaning mode. Pretty much the only time is when we have guests coming over. But I am trying to do my best anyway, and clean even when I don't feel like it. The school year is the worst because I'm already so busy with school and homeschooling, so it is hard to get motivated.

Well, my OCD causes me to live in cleaning mode lol. I am the one that is vacuuming late at night because I can't stand to go to bed with dirty floors. Now, my house isn't always clean but it drives me insane when it's not. It's really no fun though because when you have 4 children and are also a neat freak it causes you to be very exhausted lol.

Umm... never.

But I do like it to BE clean. :rofl

I try to keep the clutter at bay, and then we have a service come every 2 weeks to clean. I try to keep it up in between but meh. I don't dust.

I clean the kitchen 2-3 times a day and keep everything else tidy. It's just the CLEANING I don't ever really do.

It's been pretty near impossible to keep the house clean lately-- we just moved and it's still a construction site since we are doing SO much renovating! Boxes are still everywhere and we have paint cans and tools everywhere too... not to mention the construction dust! eeps!

What is this cleaning thing of which you speak?

I hate cleaning. HATE IT. But I do love my house to BE clean ... I just don't like doing it myself. LOL I do have a schedule for deep-cleaning and I *try* to stick to it, but I'm not always successful. We will be moving in a month so now I have an excuse to not REALLY clean until after we're all moved out! HAHAHAHAHA (don't worry - I'll still do the dishes and clean the toilets ;) )

for real, i could use one of these deep cleaning bursts of energy, but they hardly ever seem to hit me. i like the idea of cleaning, i just don't like to actually do it.

I almost never am in a cleaning mood. But sometimes I get in the mood to clean if I'm annoyed at someone.

I clean when I have to (like for company), but keeping up with the laundry and dishes and such is usually more than enough for me. On very rare occasions I will get in the mood to do more (and I actually kind of enjoy it then), but that usually only happens when I'm avoiding something I'm dreading even more. :giggle

Ugh. I hate cleaning. I especially loathe washing dishes. I force myself to work through the pile every other day because I hate it that much.

Sometimes I do an angry clean. That's always fun. :giggle
