Pad Patter 8/18 - Pets

We have two Boston Terrors, Piper...a psychotic cat who lives upstairs, Hannah...a feral cat who has lived outside in our yard for eight years, and Giacomo... our only pet that is not black and white (he's a tortoiseshell cat).

I am dying to have an English bulldog.

We have an old english -\

She is the BEST dog EVER. At this point I refer to her as one of my children. She goes outside to play with them, in an unfenced yard, runs up and down the street with them when they are riding bikes. She sleeps with us like a child. She is just AMAZING. I call her Gracie Doodle.

She is *gorgeous*, and what a sweet face! ...what's the difference between an English and an Old English Bulldog, though? There does seem to be something different about her face, and she has longer legs?

We have two lizards... a bearded dragon and a leopard gecko. (My kids LOVE reptiles.) They eat live crickets, and thus I don't have a whole lot to do with them. My DH does all that. :)

We have 2 dogs. A male rottweiler and a male chihuahua. I know what a pair right? BUT THEY LOOOOVE EACH OTHER. Seriously I start to worry about them! LOL! We also have 6 rabbits. A mama and her 5 bunnies. We spent all day yesterday building a hutch for them. I would die without my chihuahua. He follows me everywhere and is obsessed with me. My hubby's dog is the rott and he is just a big ole teddy bear!!

Rott: Lugnut
Chihuahua: Buddy
Mama Rabbit: Haven't named yet
5 bunnies:
Ren
Stimpy
Bartlett

We just got the rabbits 2 days ago.

I guess you could say and olde english is not so "compact" as an english bulldog. they do have longer legs and longer snouts. similar breathing problems and sensitivity to heat (hot weather). we got her on a whim when we first moved down here.

We have an 18 month old puppy named Charlie. He is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Poodle mix. We just love him.

I need to see a pic!! We've had two Cav. King. Charles dogs...they both died from congestive heart failure. One was 7, the next was 10. I wonder if yours being a mix helps with that problem a lot of them have.

We have a lab, Lucy...she will be 2 in November. We also have a guinea pig, Scout (we had 2 but Boo got pneumonia and died a few Christmases ago, so sad). We may get some fish since Buzzy and Tebow (the kids beta fish) died right before school let out and we haven't had time to get new ones since we have been gone so much. That's about all the pets I can handle!

I have one little pup, my pug Penny. :) She is my spoiled rotten baby. I don't know if I'd have time or energy to deal with another pet so I don't know how you all do it! LOL! Cleaning up dog hair is a part-time job!

we have 3 goldfish :D and we've had them for about 3 or 4 years and still going strong. They gotten lots bigger over the years, but the poor fishies still haven't gotten names! haha
