What is your favorite thing about your significant other/spouse/bf/family member/etc?

One thing, for me, is how he calls me when I'm at work, just to see how my day is going! Don't really know if he's seeing what kind of mood I'll be in when I get home or just lonely and misses me. :). Either way.....he loves me!

he does things to surprise me. like, he'll find my fave song on the ipod and play it in the van, or come home from work with a new kindle for me. big or little, every now and then he pulls a rabbit out of the hat! i love that!

For me - my bf is 20 years older than me - because of this I think his sweetness is just part of the age thing. He opens doors, always pays for everything, holds my hand and actually asks me how I am doing.

My favorite thing about him is how he treats me like a person. I was married to a very abusive man previously so I am very leery about people and their motives. My bf will just text me or call me in the middle of the day to see how my day is going. He makes me feel like I am the only person that matters.

His humor and imagination. He can make me laugh; remember "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and the baffled detective asks Mrs. Rabbit why she married and stays with that goofy rabbit (she's a total knock out) and she answers simply, "He makes me laugh." Yeah. It's that way with my guy. And his imagination? Well... ;)

Um, I love how he ignores me whilst he checks his baseball stats?
I love how he forgets everything I tell him....because I told him whilst he was checking baseball stats......
WELL. I know what I hate. Baseball!

Hmmm *taps fingers* hmmmm
Oh got it!
I love him when he's NOT checking baseball stats!

If he thinks I'm having a rough couple of days he'll surprise me with little things.
(such as a card, Starbucks, flowers, etc)

He leaves a lot to go fishing and I have time alone!!! lol!

Really, he works hard so I can stay home and take care of our kids. :) It's awesome!

Oh gosh... EVERYTHING! I kissed a ton of frogs before I found my husband and he was totally worth the wait. He is the bomb diggety for a million reasons. Most recently, this morning he got out of bed to go change a very dirty dipe on our daughter and then took her downstairs so I could sleep a little more. Don't get me started.

He never complains about money, or about the state of the house. (Of course, this also means he's a slob... but whatever. LOL)

He gets up and goes to work at 4am every weekday sick or not. Works all day in the heat and never complains.

LOL!! Same here!!

Seriously though...I did come home from work yesterday and my dh had veggies all grilled and some salmon and halibut he found in the freezer all ready to go out on the grill. He is NOT a cook either, so this took a lot for him to plan and execute! Very thoughtful!

He knew I didn't have much to take for work with me for lunch and he wanted to have something yummy for me when I got home...so that I wouldn't be too bitchy either! LOL! I can get that way when I'm hungry!

He's the funniest person I know, and can always make me laugh, no matter what mood I'm in.

he's really awesome about helping with housework. he picks up after himself and will do the dishes once in a while without me asking
for some reason that i don't understand (but love!) he goes on really random cleaning kicks whenever i leave the house for an extended period of time. last weekend I got back from a whole day of shopping to find out he had vacuumed and washed the bathtub :yesss

My husband is so sweet, he is always giving me compliments and gets upset when I don't believe him. And he's a great dad.

I know it sounds cheesy, but there are SO many things I love about him, it's hard to pick one. I love that he can make me laugh after 20 years. We have similar tastes and interests, so there's rarely any issues over what to do/eat/watch, etc. He's thoughtful, and does things for me just because. We always say that neither one of us is perfect, but we're perfect for each other, and that's really not far from the truth.

After 17 years together I can honestly say it's just how well he knows me and understands me. Like completely gets me. He's not the best with domestic-y stuff, though if I mention something that needs to be done, he's on it.
