I love road trips as part of our vacation. Yesterday we took a 30-mile trip up & down so curvy roads as it was fun & absolutely gorgeous.

What about you? Any interesting roads on your upcoming vacations?

We are roadtripping from Indy to Atlanta in October, so I'm sure we will hit an interesting road or two. I hate driving, but I love exploring unknown roads with someone else behind the wheel.

We love a good road trip, but unfortunately we don't have any planned right now. A 10 hour road trip is the longest one can be without being horrible though, otherwise you need to stop and sleep and stuff! My husband loves driving though around areas in Michigan that are like 3-5 hour trips and just driving. It is a little stressful now with kids I will say - I enjoyed that stuff more when it was just the two of us. Someday we will probably do more of that again!

None here. In late December/early January we drove from southern CA to western MA to visit family for the holidays as part of our move to FL. Then we drove from MA to FL. With an 18 month old and a 3.5 year old. And a puppy. It was quite exhausting.

I don't mind road trips, but I'm not a huge fan of driving and neither is DH so we don't plan for many.

We should do more road trips, especially short ones. But my daughter gets terrble car sickness. We are planning a trip up to the highlands soon to see tea plantations and strawberry farms, and I also want to do a trip to see the fireflies, but because that one will be at night, we might get a driver.

Well, we recently drove the 10 hours from Nashville to Tulsa, then 5 more hours from Tulsa to Dallas then 12 hours from Dallas to Nashville, and I am done with road trips. ;) my kids are actually good travelers, but these particular drives were SO boring in terms of scenery.

We haven't really done much for road trips, mostly because there are not a lot of scenic drives near us. We do enjoy driving when we go on trips, but the drive isn't actually the trip, kwim?

Girl....I sure hope you didn't have to go I-40 through Arkansas. Trust me, they've been doing road construction here and its horrible!!!!

We are going from Richmond to NYC on Wednesday (it's about 7 hours) then we drive home Sunday night. Then we road trip from Richmond to Tampa on the 20th for three weeks! So yes..lots of driving in our future :) I don't enjoy it per se, but I don't hate it either. The drive from VA to FL is about 12 hours so it's not the worst in the world, but I can't imagine driving much more then that at one time.

We only ever see the tollways here I think....lol. We don't really go on many road trips outside the greater Chicago area. Except to Arkansas once or twice a year which is not a scenic drive at all.

I drive so far to work everyday that I don't even want to get in my car when I'm off! :) I do want to take a road trip to Graceland someday!
