What's the next thing you're looking forward to?

I try not to focus TOO much on looking forward to stuff, because I don't like to feel like I'm wishing my life away counting town to something. Live every day and all that. :giggle

The next semi-exciting thing on my list is a 42 mile bike ride on the 20th, where I get ice cream in the middle, and at the end.

Big time stuff over here. HA

We are now less than a week away from two weeks of the winter school holidays here... very much looking forward to no routine, sleep ins and getting out and about with my girlies...

I'm a teacher on summer vacay so every day is pretty fun (if my toddler is in a good mood). This weekend we will go to Hawk Creek to see live owls (my have), vultures, eagles, etc. Looking forward to some beautiful pics.

I have three major events at work, and the last one is on September 10. So I am looking forward to September 11 :)

I'm going with my mom, SIL, my girls and my nieces on an overnight trip tonight to a waterpark/adventure place. They are all so excited. We've been looking forward to it and now it's here! :)

I am looking forward to 2 weeks !! Where the summer holidays are here and I get to spend 6 WHOLE WEEKS with my kiddies!!

Saturday we're hosting a board game day in our new house. A lot of my family and a few friends are coming up. I did this as a deadline to try to have everything in some semblance of order in our house...so this week I'll be busy. We just got the last load of our stuff on Saturday.

The next HUGE thing I am looking forward to (more looking forward to it being DONE actually) is the Disney Princess run in February that a girlfriend and I am doing the Glass Slipper Challenge at. 10K on the Sat. of the race and my first Half Marathon on the Sun. of that weekend. 19+ miles in two days - I think I will die, but in a really strange way I am looking forward to the challenge! Of course lots of little things to look forward to before then too!

Hmm... prolly Miss Monkey's birthday in August. A family party (that is rainbow & unicorn-themed -- HA!) + taking her and her two neighbor friends to the fair/bounce place/Chuck E Cheese will be lots of fun, and she is just now getting to the age where she really GETS it, kwim?

Hubby and I are going to Key West in August. We've wanted to go there for a long time so we're both excited for that! :)

For me, it's today... Being back to work after a crazy-fun 4 day holiday weekend, it feels good to be back to work... Almost like vacation without the palm trees and tropical drink! LOL! :-)

I have another vacation coming up in August. Nothing planned, but I just like having time off!

in the next 2 weeks i am planning on painting all three kids' bedrooms. i'm looking forward to having them all put back together and finished! wish me luck!

FLORIDA!!!! YEAH BABY... bring on the humidity and sogginess... we are coming!

I am signing my daughter and myself up for the Family 5k that weekend - SUPER excited about surprising her with it and doing it together with her! (her birthday is the end of January so this will be her delayed birthday weekend!)

Brynn Marie - how exciting!

I'm looking forward to the July birthday party at the end of the month. Well have a BBQ and celebrate 3 birthdays.

How FUN Danielle!!! Your daughter will be so excited I am sure - I hear it is quite an experience to Run Disney!!!

DH coming home from Afghanistan...we are finally down to double digits!!

Yay! That's happy!

We're going to a wedding at hte end of the month in the city where we'll be living next year, and I'm so excited to get down there, measure for curtains, etc. Plus Max and Ariana are going to be in the wedding, and we'll see some old friends!

I'm looking forward to moving. Or rather, I'm looking forward to knowing WHERE we're going to move. DH has interviews lined up and some of them are in this same city. Some of them are far away (well "far away" but still in the continental States). He doesn't love his job (and we always knew his post doc position wasn't forever. It's like an MD's residency). But now that the actual "looking for a REAL job" search has started, I'm kind-of freaked and kind-of excited. And I'm excited that HE is excited to really begin his career. Or rather, all of the work he's done up until now is finally going to really pay off. That's definitely something to look forward to. :)
