What's the 1st one that pops in your head?

What's your favorite?

I love Christmas movies. The more sappy, the better. I end up recording way more Hallmark movies that I ever watch during December :giggle (and don't usually delete them until Spring when I've completely given up)

But the one that still makes me smile after all of these years is Christmas Vacation.

Bonus Points for a Quote:
(Speaking of Christmas Trees)
"Ellen: Clark, Audrey's frozen from the waist down.
Clark: That's all part of the experience, honey."

"Aunt Bethany: Is your house on fire, Clark?
Clark Griswold: No, Aunt Bethany, those are the Christmas lights."

"Ellen: I don't know what to say, except it's Christmas and we're all in misery."

Oh yeah, hands down, Christmas Vacation is my favorite. My favorite part is when Clark gets the jelly of the month letter delivered and he goes on his expletive littered rant. We used to watch it every year on Thanksgiving day and I think the best part then was listening to my Dad laughing his head off at all the funny parts. It's classic. My boys are too young, but I so want to be able to show it to them. WAY too much language it is though.

National Lampoon's is a definite favorite, but the top spot is either Polar Express (LOVE to watch this with my kids!) or A Christmas Story. :)

A Christmas Story!!! I love it...SO funny. I can't believe that it took me so long to see it, but it's a tradition now!!! (Warning - there is a bit of profanity)

Ralphie: I want a Red Ryder carbine action two-hundred shot range model air rifle. Oooooooh!
Mother: No, you'll shoot your eye out.

And Elf - another great one!! Will Farrell just cracks me up!
Quote:
Buddy: SANTA! OH MY GOD! SANTA'S COMING! I KNOW HIM! I KNOW HIM!
Buddy: The best way to spread Christmas Cheer, is singing loud for all to hear.

I love Elf, watch it every year! It is not the kind of film I usually like, and I don't like Will Ferrell in anything else, but it just makes me laugh so much!

Plus any version of A Christmas Carol, like the one with Patrick Stewart or Scrooged with Bill Murray.

i love elf - and all the classic kids movie's like rudolf, the year without a santa claus, etc.

and although technically not a traditional christmas movie - i always watch love, actually at christmas.

I love the old claymation ones... Santa Claus is Coming to Town... and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (with the Abominable Snowman). (I just realized the same ones as Dana mentioned!)

After those, I love Christmas Vacation and The Polar Express. :)
