We met in college, were friends for 7 years before we started dating (although he wanted to date me our sophomore year and I was just not interested). We started dating end of April, got engaged in September and were married in January--so once we started down the romantic road, things went fairly quickly

We met in college. I had a boyfriend at that time (my high school sweetheart) and was in and out of that relationship for 3 college years. Marcos (my hubby) was a great stalker. I never learned of any interest of him in me. One day I had finally dumped my boyfriend and that same day he called my project partner (a friend of his too) and he asked me for a date. He flew from Boston (he was doing an internship) to Puerto Rico for a dinner date with me. I saw him back at college the next semester and the rest was history. We were together for almost a year before getting married.

He actually doesn't remember the first time we met!! He was quite drunk at a bar, and as a local radio host, had to raise some money for Big Brothers Big Sisters. So he hit me up for some money, and tried to chat a bit...but didn't make any sense.
We officially met on a pub crawl - his hockey team had just won their league and was having a pub crawl...one of my friends was dating someone on their team and was asked to bring some girlfriends along. We hit it off, danced at most of the pubs we went in...but then it was over, and he was pretty drunk (seemed to be a common occurence during that time with the hockey team
)
I couldn't stop thinking about him, so I looked him up on facebook and we started chatting. I ended up going over to his place about 2 weeks after we started talking, brought along a movie, he put his hand on my knee...and the rest is history.
We've been together for about 4 1/2 years now.
