Its Saturday & I'm trying to come up with something for dinner. There are some comedians on tv tonight & a boxing match (DHs favorite to watch) and we decided that we're staying in and just gonna chill out. BTW, we're having roast tomorrow so I'm thinking Nacho Night tonight! LOL

What do you & your family eat on a Saturday night?

Good question...
We are so random on what we do that I don't have a good answer but I'm interested to see what the others say! :)

We are not planners and do not have any patterns for what we have when. Almost every meal is preceded by a long "what do you feel like having, I don't know, what do you feel like making" discussion. LOL We do a lot of grilling when DH is here for meals, so I'm guessing tonight will be brats, since that's what he picked up at the store yesterday. ;)

My dh and I just started our diet today. That would be ok...we did all the shopping so we're ready there, but now our kitchen is covered in ants. I have ant baits everywhere...and I have to work 1:30 - 10, so that really makes it hard to plan a meal. We are going to try to cook some salmon up for a big lunch...I'll try to steam some veggies, but I have to chop everything out of the kitchen so we don't get ants in it...and then I bought some rotisserie chickens at Costco, so I'll make a salad to take to work and use the chicken in that.

This is going to be a tough week for meals...my schedule is just awful!!

I'll probably make something super easy like either chicken quesadillas and some steamed veggies or maybe tacos. I'm in a scrapping mood, so I'd rather not be in the kitchen! :)

I almost never cook on a Saturday. It's usually take out on weekends here. Pizza sounds good for tonight.

I have a race downtown at 6pm, so they'll be fending for themselves. :giggle

We've gone out to eat so much this weekend (and still haven't gone to the store yet), I have no idea what we're going to for dinner tonight.

I had shredded chicken + cheese + rice for dinner. Monkey didn't want to eat. DH and SS let me know they were going to a baseball game and not going to be home for dinner as they were walking out the door. :thumbsdowns

We rarely eat together on weekends when SS is here. The boys are usually out and about and/or eat at odd times between activities while Monkey gets up early and needs to eat at her regular times. On non-SS weekends, I try to cook something nicer/bigger that I don't feel like cooking during the week when I work like meatloaf.
