So, now that we are spending almost all of our time outside, I'm noticing all kinds of things I want to do or re-do...

I've been working on my screened in porch since spring but it's kind of tiny so I'm having a hard time fitting anything in it, LOL. (need a mini table that seats 6, haha).

I also have a sliding bench and 2 rockers on the front porch that seriously need some love. Like re-painting kind of love.

Oh, and our deck needs to be re-stained. I think it was the fact that we had a big group over this weekend and spent the whole evening outside that made me realize all I want to do :giggle

SO... any outdoor projects on your list? I would love pics for inspiration ;)

I'll keep you posted on my progress as well!

Our garden is mostly finished at the moment, we had some big work on it the last two years, so now I'm kind of relaxed with it!

I used to "take care" of my yard but I just lost motivation. We keep our grass cut, make sure it's nice and neat, but I've just had no motivation to buy any flowers or new plants. They seem to always die on me. I used to have a green thumb but don't know where it went? :thumbsdowns

mmm we have a little patio which I used to have full of plants but after I got very unwell two years ago I haven't done anything...the rest of the greenery in our building are community gardens...

but I have one MAJOR outdoor project I would like to get together...
buy some tickets to go see my family...now if I only could find a cheap ticket LOL

We have an older house and yard that is always in need of work! We took out two HUGE blue spruce trees in our front yard earlier this year, and DH just ground up the stumps last month, but we still have two big spots of dirt/ground up stump pieces that we need to landscape. We need to remove a lot of the dirt there and fill in with new. On one side we'll just grass it, but I want to make a nice flower garden in the other space, with some small fruit trees as well. I think we'll wait until it's not quite so hot though. We also have a fire pit area in our back yard that is just dirt and weeds right now... I'd love to put pavers in or something like that.

It's so hot here in Fort Worth (in the 100s) that I'm mostly only outside if I'm at the neighborhood pool or at one of my son's tennis tournaments! We do those types of projects in the spring if we can :)

I finally planted my garden and now we're talking about a patio. We never eat outside and it would be really great if we could!

We need to paint our porch. And our backyard needs some attention. We relandscaped the front three sommers ago. That makes the back seem that much worse! :)

I have painted my storm door and put new screen in it, painted a small bistro set that I've had for years, and built pallet benches for my front and back decks. I still have more to do, like touch up some trim and things around the house, but I'm feeling pretty accomplished so far lol. I was going to do an L-shaped section of benches on the front, but didn't like how it came together...so, I decided to separate the pieces and have several benches on both decks. Here is the one that is pretty much finished

We want to get some cleanup done at our trailer. We need to put more gravel down in the driveway and I want to reprint the adirondack chairs.

Love how this looks, Jan. I saw a cool article on things to do with pallets... about 2 weeks after getting rid of several. UGH. Love your benches!

I said I was going to paint my shutters this spring. Yeah. I didn't. :rofl

Thanks, Jen. I also used the leftover boards from these to make 2 planter boxes that turned out really cute. I would probably do more pallet projects if I could more easily get my hands on some and had a truck to haul them haha
