Where would you go to eat if you were given $1000 to spend on one meal? Since we know this isn't going to happen in real life, feel free to be as creative as possible. :giggle
 
A big juciey steak.. seasme ginger flank to be exact
Twice baked potato with lots of gooy cheese and bacon
Lobster Tail
Grilled Green Beans
Virgin Pina Coladas
Turtle Cheese Cake

I would use the $$ to fly to NYC and eat a slice on the street, hehe. Does that count?

Totally. I was thinking of something similar... getting a ticket to Ireland and having a dish of stew or flying to Cinque Terra for some bread in olive oil.

Fly to Disney World & stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge with a room overlooking all the animals & eat at Sanaa or Boma!

I would go with Hubby to Delmonico's at the Venetian in Vegas!

Jen! I had the same thing in mind! with $1000 - why not fly to some exciting place and grab a bite :) I am gonna use it to fly to Niagara Falls and eat a regular everyday pizza! - Niagara falls is my happy place so thats the best use I can think of the $1000 !! :))
 
You gals have the right idea! Fly somewhere fun. I think I'd go to Italy and eat in some little cafe there on the edge of a big plaza or something.
 
There's a French restaurant in St. Augustine Fl that I'd love to go back to.
 
I'd definitely take a flight somewhere, and catch a meal! Great idea!
 
I'll use $800 to bring friends from far away to my house and then go to the grocery store with the $200 and have a party at the house!!
 
oooooh so fun! i'll take a ticket to a caribbean island in feb please (when i simply can not take one more stinkin' day of the cold) ... a cold rum & tropical fruit cocktail in a coconut in one hand and a plate of some delicious local fare in the other.
 
i would go eat eat Alinea in Chicago - and add in the wine pairing to the tasting menu :)
