Karen ... if you can't clean your carpet back to normal have you thought of dying it? change the colour so you don't have to deal with the nearly white carpet anymore...

And yeah DIY is a biggie round here since the money tree out the back died off... I have started accumulating power tools and I am learning how to use them and I LOVE IT!

DIY projects are always so rewarding (and exhausting), aren't they?! I redid our landscaping in the front of our house... which included hooking a chain to the front end of my vehicle and yanking a huge bush out! It was hard and physical work, but it looks beautiful now!

Our place isn't big enough to do all that much, unless you count putting together IKEA furniture as DIY!

Oh man that is some floor! Talk about patience to design it and then actually construct it! I don't think I could cope with it in my house though...

ha! i spray painted an old dog dish to cover up the rust. it turned from black/rust-spotted to teal blue. does that count as DIY?

The red has been there since we moved in three years ago, and I've never been a fan. I love me a red door, but I don't like it with the color of our brick. I think the blue will be a nice change.
