What one thing from your Pinterest boards do you REALLY want to try?

Recipe, project, whatever.

I'm making this cake from mine, pinned over 2 years ago. :giggle

oOoh my! That looks delicious! Is that a pecan frosting?

Hubby and I are working on a garden with raised beds that was inspired by Pinterest. All we have left is the border and a couple of other minor things. It has turned out well beyond my expectations! I'll post pictures when it's done. :)

My next project, er, my next honey-do project inspired by Pinterest is this ...

this quilt, made with the baby clothes that i could not bear to part with:

This is our front porch. We have a bit more to do like paint but it's darn close to the 2nd photo. It's taken almost 2 years to get DH to get all the shelves that were given to us put up in the garage and now my front porch looks like people live at our house. We're looking at getting a rocking chair and I've got a beautiful ornamental iron piece that will go on the garage wall. And the wreath up by the porch light will definitely be coming down!

And this is my next project since I have the shutters (Home Depot $29/pair) and I have an antique window that my neighbor pulled out of a house that was being torn down. Lamps I can get and I already have a similar sign that I bought years ago from Home Interiors. This should be happening within the next week or two.

Melanie, your front porch is amazing!!

I have 2 that are calling my name. However, the cake is calling me a little louder.

What? You mean I'm supposed to make the stuff I pin?!
Lynnette, I ditto your statement. Esp when it comes to the porch, the antique-window-mirror, the bookshelf and the wooden base desk lamp.

O'wise I'm fine with the cooking & baking.

The cake was delish, although a bit more labor intensive than I'd like. Also, I did cupcakes because I can never find my cake pans. LOL

Since Ryan hasn't gotten my memo and I guess will just have to live on my boards for another 3 years, I decided to tackle this:

My daughter is getting a knock off American Girl (until we know she's ready for the real thing) for her birthday and I thought this would be an easy project.

I REALLY want to make a set of these and an outdoor countertop in our patio area in the backyard to match. Mmm... maybe I should do that this weekend since we aren't doing anything else...
