Pad Patter: 6/6 - Fish

Yes and Yes. :) I don't know how to clean it but I can do the rest, and I love to eat fish. Kids do as well. We took them Thursday night in fact and we had a blast together. So relaxing, gorgeous night, and they caught fish after fish (mostly small and were thrown back, but they didn't care). Ella caught a keeper and I fried it up for her today. Delicious!

Eric and my stepdad are going to Alaska in September on a big fishing trip. I can't wait to have a freezer stocked with fish!

My daughter catches them, too (with friends from her school), but I'm glad when other mothers agree to work with them... I'm not really into cleaning and deboning.
 
Yep, I eat and catch fish.... kind of have to since my last name is FISHER! :giggle

My hubby loves to fish and just bought a fishing boat this spring. I'm more excited about the boat than he is I think, but because I only have two boys, so I can send all three of them off fishing and I can scrap in peace and quiet! LOL!
 
I guess you could say I've been spoiled. I have always gone fishing and eaten lots of fish.. mostly pickerel. It's so good! ;)
 
I'm a wussy! No fish, no seafood. I know.... I need to grow up & get over it! LOL!
 
The only fish I like are in Finding Nemo or the Little Mermaid. Fish are friends, not food. LOL!
 
I LOVE fish and seafood. But do NOT love fishing. Mostly because the few times I've been I didn't catch anything - seemed like such a waste of time and money!
 
I like certain types of fish. So, I eat those.

I have been fishing, but it is not my thing. When we do fish, the boys and DH catch them, and I take pictures. Then they throw it back or cooler it up. I'm quite happy taking pictures.
 
My sons like to go fishing, so I will catch fish.
I like to eat fish, so I eat fish.
However, I WILL NOT eat the fish we catch.
Why? I don't want to clean a fish and I don't want it to look like a fish when it's on my plate!!
I guess if someone else cleaned and cooked the fish, I would try to eat it.
Until then, it's catch and release!!
 
We eat a lot of fish but I do not like fishing! My son and his grandfather go fishing regularly and bring the fish. These are then smoked and then eaten by us. We also love sushi over everything and make this by himself.
 
yes...I love fish. My favorite is salmon, and I just made it tonight. I'm really thankful that it's one of my families favorite meals too.

catching it? I love to fish, but my dh isn't a fisherman, so we rarely do any. We are headed up to Alaska next week though, and I'm really going to try to get some fishing in!
 
I don't eat meat but I do eat fish - sometimes.. My favorite is salmon and tuna .. I love mixing canned tuna with chives, green onion, green pepper and mush it all together with plain yogurt and some salt.. wrap it up or put it on a sandwich .. yummmmm

I love fish - one of my favorite meals. And I am very thankful for the fishermen who catch it for me. ;)

I do not catch fish - eww! My kids love to go fishing (catch and release) and that is a daddy activity. worms, hooks, etc. gross me out. lol.
 
I'm not a fishy person. But I did buy some for dinner this week because I know how good for us it is. Hopefully I can get it down! :) (And please do assume that means I don't catch fish either. Ew.)
