So did you get everything done in June that you thought you would? :giggle

I haven't even started in on my May list. :thumbs downs I was sure I was going to have my shutters painted, my upstairs hall painted, my built in bookshelves in the office painted, and be starting the basement by now.

None of the above.

Summer, why you go so fast? :tantrum

oh my goodness...we just got out of school on Wednesday. i feel like summer is half over and it just started. =(

Ugh June started horribly for us... We got given Notice to move out of our rental home and it looked like we might have to give our cat away, I had problems at work that were getting worse and it started looking like my hubby might lose his job.

But it ended well :D Hubby didn't lose his job, I won a few battles at work, we found a quirky but cute house and its all sorted and waiting for us to move in WITH the cat, and we had an awesome holiday with hubby's mum and her husband on the north Cornwall coast.

I've got a cold and a lot of packing to do, but at least things are on the up!

June just FLEW by for us. We took a two week trip home across the country to visit family and now that we're back home, I cannot believe June is already over. No, I didn't get everything done that I hoped to, but that's what July is for now.

June flew by. I was hoping we would have sold our house so we could relocate to a different town where my husband is working and our church is. We just don't have a buyer! I'm hoping it will sell soon so we can start school in the fall in the new district.

same here. But then I remember that we don't go back until after Labor Day. WooHoo!

june kicked my butt and went way too fast. didn't get anything i wanted to done & so many unexpected things happened that sucked my time away from me. excited to finally be able to enjoy the summer break with the kids ...

Most of my June list was the kids' activities and VBS, so all of that got done. Finished all of my June challenge pages here (plus a couple dozen - being a guest Polly was amazing!) but pretty much got nothing.at.all done at home! :giggle

July is my house-stuff month - too hot to be outside, so I followed Melrio's lead and joined 40 bags in 40 days - some junk needs to go from here before school starts back on August 8!

Once we hit July 4 I feel like Summer is already half over. It sucks how fast it all goes by! I can't believe tomorrow is July 1.

I am actually happy to say goodbye to June!

My husband worked nights and so was gone from 6 pm-8am, then slept all day and started over. I was completing an online college course to maintain my teacher certification, boys were super busy with VBS, basketball camp, swim lessons, and other miscellaneous stuff.

Now, all of that is over and I am looking forward to July to kick back, scrap, read for fun, maybe paint a room in my house, and mostly ignore school work--since August is just on the horizon!

Our June was filled with a conference, two VBS's for the kiddos, and keeping the house clean 90% of the time in the even of the house getting shown. We also went to the library...that's a trip with three little ones!

I have done some things and am completing others. But most hasn't been done yet...
Siggh... sometimes I wish we wouldn't need any sleep and we could use that for our hobbies!!!

I didn't really have any goals at the start of the month, but I did get quite a lot of organizing stuff done around the house which is highly unusual for the summer months for me. I guess it helped that it was rainy and yucky outside. I'm especially happy that I was able to mount my 2 monitors to the wall in front of my desk, which freed up a bunch of desktop space. Now I have my Silhouette and my little Selphy printer on my desk and plugged in and ready to use at a moments notice. :)

You just reminded me of all I have left to do :(

I wont even list because then we ll be here till next summer LOL

The month just flew by. I got a few things done that were on my list but I had hoped to get more organizing in the basement done. Oh well...there is always July.

I feel like I have worked my butt off, but my to-do list is so long!! I have built and painted pallet benches for my deck, painted the bathroom, cleaned out the kitchen cabinets, reworked/painted/rescreened my storm door, and painted some trim outside. And there is still so much I want/need to accomplish. I need the days to slow down just a little!

I don't even make lists in the summer. If I get stuff done, great. If not, great! :)
