So... this heat we've had seems to be going around. What do you think about it?

I like warm weather, so generally speaking I am happy about it. I LOVED our mild winter.

But, I don't necessarily like running when it's 86°. :stars

If it could be 50 degrees until 10am, and then 90 after that, I'd be totally on board with this plan.

What say you? Are you melting? Or are you loving it?

Being from Florida, I'm kind of used to it by now. Our winters are rarely very cold but I do enjoy breaking out the wool sweaters for a few below 30 days each year. I will say I'm not used to it feeling so hot so early but got to wear crop pants to work earlier this year. It's almost getting to the "feel like you are baking when you get into the car" temperature range we here all love so much ; )

This can't bode well for farmers of any kind this year.

It was 107 here yesterday, which is absolutely ridic for June. I'm not a fan of the heat.

Yikes!! We have been in the low 90s at most, but still I certainly do not enjoy it. I have been faring well though with A/C and the new car. I spend very little time outdoors, which suits me just fine. :) It's 'only' 85 today.

I can't say much since we're in Washington state, and it is never very warm here. I just saw a map that shows what the weekend is going to look like for the country, and it totally blows me away how warm everything is in all of the other parts of the US. I hope you all keep cool somehow. :(

I like warm, but not this warm. Almost a week of 100+ is crazy for this time of year around here, and it's supposed to continue.

We've been having weather in the high 80s to high 90s. I honestly don't mind that too much because when its over 86 or so we head to the pool, and when its cooler (as if you could call 80 cool, lol), then we can go on a walk or head to the park. So I'm up for it, but once it gets into the 100s, then I'm not a happy camper.

It has been a BEYOND perfect summer here so far (knock on wood!). I don't think we've hit the 90s for more than a couple of days. It's been so nice. I know it's almost over, though - our summer usually peaks late July/early August and then we're hot through October.

I love the heat, so I love when it gets hot and stay hot for the summer, but yeah, I'd love 50 all night so we could sleep with the windows open and then heat all day so we could play at the beach!

I'm not crazy about temps in the 90s. I spent most of my time in nice air conditioned environments though, so I can't complain. I do feel bad for my doggie though because the hot weather is not good for her. It's also been pretty cruel to my tomato plants.

we had the mildest summer here for years, I missed the heat so much. The weather is all over the place at the moment. Can't wait to be warm again but they are warning we are in for another dry spell this year - we've had a couple of wet years, we love every rain spell we get - we had years of drought and I don't want them to return.

I feel for those enduring the fires in California again...

The heat is on here with temps over 100 everyday this week & next week is more of the same. Augh!!!!

I'm with Stacy. Living here in Florida we're pretty used to the heat, but these temps all over the place now is crazy. I guess we caught a break with the Tropical Storm last week because while it rained like crazy, we also had some pretty low temps for June.

I love the heat, but it has been insane for this time of year. I like it better than freezing though. :)

I don't mind the heat. . .but we NEED RAIN!!! with all the wildfires and dryness, it's beyond out of control~

Umm, beyond melting here. 105 is just not fun. At all. And how in the heck do you send kids out to play when it's this hot?!

Melting here as well. I'm so thankful we have central air. It's been high 80's - 90's since mid-May, and now the last few weeks "normal" for us is 100-105... the last couple of days though - 110-115! It's so humid. We're in Canada just across the river from Detroit.

Our temperature today is 102, not our heat index, the actual temperature. I don't mind the heat too much, but this is way hotter than even our usual. 100+ isn't too strange for our late July/early August, but it's strange for right now.
