Thanks Angie. My a** just grew 2 sizes looking at that picture. OMG yum.

I made some really super awesome carnitas rice bowls last night with lime cilantro rice. SO good. I had never done rice bowls, the kids loved them!

Holy yumminess Angie!!!

We made some homemade ice-cream a few days ago but that doesn't even compare to what you made!!!

I said "we" and I generally use that term very loosely. My part of most of the cooking is buying the ingredients and leaving the recipe on the counter.

My 16 year old son is in the culinary program at his high school and loves to cook. Lucky me. :)

Pork chops with rhubarb-onion sauce. But ask me again in an hour because I'm about to make some frozen yoghurt. lol

Angie, That looks yummy.,, beyond words!:)

Made some noodles Indian style last weekend that turned out nice... But haven't really been in the cooking mood recently ... Though I do consider myself to be a good cook .... Given the recipe is crystal clear! :)

oh, I'm jealous...there's never anything that yummy at my house!

Angie, were they as tasty as it looks/sounds?

We bought some goodies for making s'mores today...those are always yummy and seem to be synonymous with "summer" in my head. Looking forward to the nom nom.

I made mango ice cream in my vitamix.

run away from the thread repeating the mantra

I do have recipes for burritos/tacos & fajitas made with Quorn instead of meat if you would like it Ang, it taste the same as meat but has almost nothing of the bad stuff.....

I made this:

My son turned 19 and that's what he requested instead of a birthday cake. And now I'm off to print off that poke cake recipes because... yes.

Hey Karen, not sure if you meant you wanted the recipe for the smothered beef burritos but there is a link under the photo I posted. Enjoy! YUM!

hmmm.. YEAH!.... I covered the blades (this counts as 1 part of liquid) with half-and-half (just because I forgot to put my unsweetened coconut milk in the fridge and it was not cold.), about 1 tbsp of raw sugar (or stevia, or whatever sweetener you want), and 3 parts FROZEN mangos (or any other FROZEN fruit). Use the taper to push all that into the blades. Move from 1 to 10 in speed and then hit with high using the taper until it is going on it's own. Then run it until you see 4 pillows or mounds and it's done! It takes less than ONE minute.

NOTE: You could use greek yogurt instead of milk, if your fruit is sweet enough you don't need the sugar. It's a very taste thing. I like my raspberry one without NO sugar at all, I like the tartness.

Oooh thank you! I'm going to give this a try! Sounds so yummy...and so easy!!!
