Now with the summer upon us, I'm digging out a few of my skirts from the pile of summer clothes I have. They have got to be cooler & it seems more women are wearing skirts this year too.

So.....are any of you seeing this trend and do you wear skirts in the summer?

I've noticed that myself recently. I really only have two and they are more dress up skirts. Might be fun to find some summery ones...

Naw. I hate skirts. Even as a kid, when I had a choice in what I wore, I didn't like wearing them. I couldn't figure out for years how women could enjoy wearing them until I found out about underwear that looked like biking shorts, so that thighs wouldn't rub together. TMI?

I like them, but I only have 1, lol. I always look for them and then don't buy them. I really need to grab a couple because I prefer the nice floaty summer ones with a tank top when its hot. Better to not show off legs :)

i have really bad eczema and one of my legs has a huge patch thats been there for.. oh a year :p so no, i avoid skirts like the plague currently.. which sucks.. because it gets hot and i'm sure the jeans + sweat isn't helping.

I've never liked skirts until last summer. I had a friend RAVE about jersey, fold-over skirts & so I tried them. I found them at Old Navy on sale for $8 or 9 each. They are so comfy, much cooler & they hit just below the knee when standing so I don't have to worry too much about keeping my business to myself.

I dont' think I have any skirts right now (well, that fit me anyway). I rarely would choose to wear one, but I do love the floaty/ruffly longer ones that I'm seeing around this year. I might even buy one!

My new obsession is maxi dresses. So comfy. Like wearing my pajamas all day, cept I look fancy enough to say "can't do housework, am all dressed up".

I love comfortable skirts. I just got a cute red and white striped one from Old Navy that hits slightly below the knee, so it's super comfy and also cool.

I also see a lot of good skirts at Stein Mart and Target, ones that I can actually wear to work.

yes - i love them! i wear skirts w/ t-shirts, and i also have a bunch of summery dresses (both short and maxi) .... i feel like i'm 'dressed' even when i'm totally casual!

I have just recently gotten into skirts for summer. I have 2 that are kind of flowy and hit just above the knee. They are cool and comfortable, just have to watch out for those sudden breezes. lol.

LOL!! I'm with ya there!!!

I love skirts too. Am also a huge fan of the maxi dresses. Although I only have one, I think I need to remedy that! :)

I LOVE skirts, though my favorite skirt has a huge worn out hole in a place that you can see my undies, so I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do with it... they used to be jeans that I up cycled into a skirt so super soft and awesome, so I want to figure out a way to salvage it...

and yes, I prefer skirts to anything else, because they are just so airy and comfortable for summer... I hate shorts or capris because I don't like my thighs, but i really like my calves, and you can hide the thunder thighs with a skirt :)

I have 1 skirt that I love, because it's so swishy and girly. I have added a lot more dresses to my wardrobe over the last few months, but I think I might need to add some more skirts too.

I like to wear skirts and dresses - but I don't like to iron. So some of my sundresses haven't come out of the closet yet this season. But I have a few that don't need ironing and they are in the rotation more often.
