Mother's Day here in America

I am dying for my mom to get the blue hydrangeas I got her...and darn it she is on facebook so I can't even show them off! lol

Beautiful! I love hydrangeas. We had big bushes of them around the house growing up and they've always been a favorite of mine for sentimental reasons.
 
I am super thankful to have my mom, my grandma, and my mother in law all nearby - I am thinking I am going to invite them over for dinner on Sunday (if I can talk the kids into helping me clean up as my Mother's Day present - lol!)
 
I have no idea what we are going to do for my mom, but we always do something. I just want some scrap time. :)
 
Those are beautiful, Anne! I haven't decided what to do for my mother just yet. I usually get her a really pretty hanging basket. She is here in town, so I am sure I will see her and maybe do dinner. She is so weird, she brings me a Mother's Day present. Every year I say, "But I'm not your mother" and then she replies "But you are A mother" LOL
 
Aww that's sweet! I don't even know what we're doing for Mother's Day yet. But it's my sister's first Mother's Day and I need to get her a card from the baby!
 
I don't have a mom and we aren't big holiday people so who knows. My daughter said she's going to mow the lawn 'for me' but as it's normally my oldest son who mows the back, I'm not sure if that's a gift for me or him. LOL. I do mow the front, but I actually enjoy doing it. Maybe I'll order some mulch for them to spread. Good idea!
 
I adore hydrangeas. My bridal party had blue ones in their bouquets (15 years ago!).

The hydrangeas are beautiful... and definitely some of my personal faves. We had 6 big bushes in front of my childhood home. They were the easiest thing in the world to keep alive. I especially loved that we had different colored blooms from each bush. It was pretty cool.

My mom took a rain check on an outing this weekend as she is busy with a craft fair. I'll def call and sing to her or something silly like that on Sunday.

Happy Mother's Day (a little early) to all of the other lilypad moms!!

Happy mothersday!! It's tomorrow here in NL my girls are asking all kind of questions what I like to eat.... Guess breakfast in bed, selfmade gifts.... Love it, but my biggest present are my girls :beat:beat
 
Those are so pretty Anne! Your mom is going to love those! :) My hubby and I are splitting up after church... he's going down to visit his Mom and do a bunch of projects around her house for her and I'm going to take my kiddos and visit my parents. :) Then we have movie night at church in the evening complete with pizza... so I don't have to cook! Woo-hoo! :)
