Last day of school here. :whoopdedoo

Any big plans this summer?

None here. Just the pool for the kids and me doing a lot of cycling (I hope!).

We don't have much of anything on the calendar for the summer yet. I'm hoping we can go camping a couple of times since we didn't get to go at all last year. We have one more week of school to get through too and then it'll be our official summer. :)

We have a family coming to stay with us for the week leading up to 4th of July. They are like extended family and have 4 kids, so that will be a fun/crazy/busy week. Otherwise I think all of our weekends are open which is kind of crazy. I think we will be spending a lot of time at the beach this year! :)

We're talking about heading home to Georgia for a week and visiting our families mid-June when the boys get out of school. I'm happy about the idea and sad about it at the same time.... my guest Polly spot is for June and I don't want to go out of town then! :)

Nothing formally planned here. Right now hubby and I are getting our yard ready for summer ... putting in new raised garden beds, landscaping, putting up our swimming pool for the grandlittles (we have an Intex). I start a new job here in about a week, so excited! Once I'm done with orientation and my schedule settles I'm sure we'll make plans to do the typical things that we do every summer ... TONS of fishing and tubing, and grilling! A trek or two (or six) to Cedar Point and the sand dunes (that's the closest I can get to a beach here in Indiana :( ) Might hit the state fair this year. Just gonna kinda play it lazy for the most part. :) :)

We only have one thing planned... the others will be random. We are going to Vermont in July to Smugglers Notch. I'm super excited because we will be going with two other families, so I know we will have a blast! Other than that, a couple NYC day trips, weekends at my parent's new shorehouse (NJ shore/Sandy area) and the Sandy Hook shores, and plenty of pool days. The boys will have camp for a couple weeks, and I'll have a general bucket list for them with ideas. Their grandmother (my MIL) is staying with us this summer, so I've got to have some sort of list so they don't stay in the house all day!

We've got a few campouts planned with extended family - one with DH's side, one with mine.. other than that we're pretty chill during the summer.. DS had his last day of school yesterday, so I think I'll sit down with him next week to come up with a bucket list.. DH & I are still working, so our days are full of that while the boys are at daycare.. hoping to take a few Fridays off to play, though.. :)

Not a ton right now. Eric's been working his tail off so I'm just hoping we get to see him once in awhile. lol. We have a big week long camping trip with his cousins in July planned, and a short vacation with his parents and sisters in August. Other than that it will be quick weekend trips when we find time.

Got a big family vacation planned for first couple of weeks of July...other than that same old same old.

We just took our big trip to Disney World. We'll head to the beach sometime this summer and we have a church trip in July. Other than that it will be the pool, the park, 2$ movies, etc. Good ole summertime stuff. Oh, and my PIL are going to swing through and pick up the girls and take them camping for 3 or 4 days. Can't wait for that!! :giggle

Last Day of School
Kindergarten boy: June 9
2nd grade boy: June 10

We have soccer and baseball through the end of June. We are leaving on July 10th for our Florida vacation and will be back home on July 27th.....a week at Disney and a week on the beach!!!!! We can't wait!

Soccer and baseball start back up the first week of August so we have a very small window that we can go somewhere.

Oh....and we are going to get siding and a new roof on our house at some point this summer too!!!

I have some major work commitments this year that culminate in a major review mid-September. so my summer plans involve work :) But we do have a trip to Las Vegas planned for next month for our 20th anniversary, and I will try to grab a weekend here and there. But no real summer plans!

I just had a week off! So much fun. I saw Daniel Radcliffe on Broadway and I went to a big book expo yesterday and got to see some celebs like Jason Segel! I also spent lots of time with my baby niece and had lots of time to read and watch movies. Summer's turning out pretty great so far!

I also have a trip to California coming up at the end of the month. I'm going to VidCon. It's a big YouTube convention and I'm going with some friends who have a really popular series. I think it's going to be awesome. And then I have another week off in August. My baby niece turns 1 next week and we're having a big party for her. I have lots to look forward to!

Its the first day of Winter here down under and my Winter plans revolve around scrapping, reading and sleeping in as much as I can :D

I should sit down with the kiddos, well the younger one at least, and hammer out some concrete plans beyond the classes and stuff we have scheduled. My oldest is 17 and is planning on working his butt off to save for a new (old) car. I just picked up a flyer for a knitting class at Hobby Lobby and I am definitely going to sign myself up for that!
