Pad Patter: 5/3 - Bad Habits

I'm fessing up, I smoke. I used to when I was younger and gave up 10 years ago, but for some stupid reason I started again recently and am finding it hard to give up right now.
 
Amanda, I'm thinking it would be harder to quit the second time around just because you know how hard it is to quit. But on the flip side...you've done it once so you know it's possible!!!

My bad habit..I bite my nails. I used to smoke but quit about 3 years ago.
 
Well, if you ask DH, he'd say my bad habit is scrapbooking! :giggle

I would say that being messy is my worst habit.
 
Oh yes, I have bad habits aplenty. I drink too much Diet Coke, eat too much chocolate, stay up too late, have too little patience when my daughter is throwing a fit or I'm reminding DH of something I've already told him, try to control too much of everyone else's business, and care too much what other people think of me.

Aren't I a prize?! :giggle
 
I bite my fingernails... always have, probably always will. Also, I don't really think this is bad, but I crack my knuckles a lot and it drives DH crazy!
 
I have quite a few bad habits, but the one that drives my husband crazy is that I bite my nails. It drove my mom crazy when I was a kid too; so it's a lifelong bad habit.
 
Hmmm....should I list them ALL??

I hate to make the bed, I leave clothes around the bedroom instead of putting them away. I collect papers and random junk on my desk. I always cheat on my diet and eat sugar. I don't answer the phone unless I know who's calling me. Same with answering the door, LOL. total phobia, and dh would defnitely say that is a bad habit.
 
Okay, so y'all have made me feel bad....smoking again (either I smoke or there'll be dead bodies lying around), cuss like a mo-fo (ah, that's DHs fault....it's the only way to get my point across), and biting nails (though it's more of a one hand working on the other but I'm getting them back).
 
Let's see...I'm a lifelong messy. I still leave clothes on the floor (but I'm better about putting them away every two weeks or so...I think. I spend way too much time on the computer. I have NO IDEA what to do with papers. Neither does my husband, but guess who he hands them all off to anyways? ME! My desk is piled high with papers and stacks of stuff. Doesn't matter if I clear it off. It's back in the same condition within a day. I'm forgetful and easily distracted, so I 'forget' to do laundry more often than I remember to do it.

Those are habits, aren't they? I never smoked (except for a rare cig in college or at a rarer party). I've cut way down on alcohol.
