Anything but the bus - spent 24hrs from home to Brisbane and back again 4 days later when I was a 17yo - I swore never again. That went out the window when we caught a coach from Singapore to Melacca - pouring rain and a driver who was slightly distracted - never again!
Flying is the only way to get somewhere different in or out of Australia. I spent last year driving to and from my Mum and Dad's house - 5hours each way. Am a bit over it now. Love a train trip though.
