I know some of ya'lls, see them in the galleries, but tell me something about them...
I have 2 dogs
Boo-a ten year old black poodley thing that rules the house. She sleeps on her own pillow above my head on the bed. yep and has a basket in our van with blankets so she goes with us about everywhere.

Biscuit is greyhound/black and chocolate lab. I got her to have a running partner. She goes every morning and stays with us until she sees a rabbit then we are on our own.

They love to go with me to drop the kids off in the morning!

We have a 1 1/2 year old Beagle mix, Olive - she is as rotten as the other two children in our house ;) She is an outside puppy with inside playtime. She will follow her nose literally to the end of the world (hubby is training her to find deer antler sheds), and her favorite pasttime is ripping the eyes off of stuffed animals (we call her the toyminator). Until her, we had only ever had a very old, very cranky cat (Bob - who lived to be almost 20), and I am still surprised by how attached we are all to Olive!

aw love you too!

We have too many allergies in our house for any. But when and if we get land, I have agreed to a couple dogs. :)

We have a 2 year old Border Collie...my sister and her husband breed them (he breeds and trains them for his work - he is a ranch hand). So they have a few litters every year.
Finn is every bit a Border Collie - he is obsessed with anything you can throw so he can fetch it...especially balls. If we bring him anywhere to run, without a ball, he goes mad looking for something to run after. But he really is a great dog - high energy and very smart.

We have two pets - a German Shepherd named Calla, who is 1 1/2 and a kitten named Bella. Bella is a Siberian Forest Cat, which most people, even with allergies are not allergic to, because this breed has very low levels of the protein that causes a reaction. My DH and oldest daughter both have cat allergies but have been 100% fine with her. She fetches. Weird for a cat, but she does! As for Calla, she looks like a bad a**, but in fact, she's all lover. She is the most snuggly, kiss-y dog I've ever met. She has to start and end each day with a full body contact hug and lots of reassurance. So needy! LOL

Here's Calla after a fun romp in the snow.

Bella in all of her fluffy cuteness...

And the two of them together...still working towards detente...which for reasons that are unclear to me only seems to happen on my ivory couch. LOL

I used to have a cat that fetched! Only Lidja, though. None of the others ever did.

I don't have any furbabies now as we have no space, but I have had a few cats in my time. If we ever have space, I'd consider a dog.

We have a handsome black lab puppy named Jasper. He's just over a year old now, and he has both his calm moments and his crazy frenetic moments. He's adorable, but addicted to eating anything the kids leave on the floor. Dirty clothes, erasers, Lego pieces, pool-noodle light sabers (we've lost 2 of these so far). You would think that the kids would learn.

Oh yeah, he conveniently pruned all the bushes at the fenceline we share with our neighbours. Those bushes and shrubs that I lovingly encouraged to grow through the chain link fence over the last 10 years and bless our backyard as well as theirs...well, they are shaved off in a nice straight line right against the chain link. 10 years down the drain on that one. Not only that, he pruned the bushes on our property too...a lovely yellow broom bush is pruned right to the ground (and it's dead, Jim!), plus my potentilla bushes are chewed up.

Sigh! But we love him anyway. After all, who could resist this face?!

Heather, be prepared, Lab puppy stage goes for two years. Oh, the things our family Lab used to eat!

Laura, I want your dog. Seriously, he looks like so much fun and those ears! We had a Shepard when I was a baby and from what my parents said, he was an awesome family dog.

Loving everyone's fur baby photos!

Right now we have one dog, Barely, who is some kind of golden/lab mix and two cats, Penelope aka Penny, a domesticated short hair cat, and my Dad's ancient Maine Coon Boots.

Barley is a rescue from the animal shelter. I'd always bought from breeders before but he is the BEST dog ever and I'm now a shelter devotee for life. He loves the kids and people and thinks he's a lap dog lol. He also has a black spotted tongue haha!

Penny was from a friend's litter, one of those, oops I didn't spay my cat and now she's having kittens things. She's a twin and was born on Valentine's Day. Oh, and spayed. Right away, just like the dog lol.

Here's photos! Sorry for poopy quality, most are old Blackberry photos.

Together!

After losing Euker and then Sandy at the end of 2013, I found Taz who was the perfect little guy to heal our broken hearts. He is a small labradoodle that doesn't look like his siblings or parents and has his own quirky personality. He's a listener. He will stare at you and listen as you talk, he watches tv, especially commercials with dogs or babies, and like to kiss everyone. He will leap up into the air to plant a quick mouth kiss on you! He steals things from around the house and hides them in the window ledge behind the couch. He is especially fond of stealing my bra and I'm sure the neighbor boy is horrified when he comes to mow our lawn and sees my bra(s) in the window. He steals them out of the closet and then hides them somewhere (we don't know where yet) and then they get dragged onto the window ledge. He also likes my reading glasses. I've replaced 4 pairs so far (luckily I buy the cheap ones).

my 5 year old boy Jordan and I sat and smiled as I read each name and funny thing the animals did..the bras made him laugh so hard!

My 11 year old black lab mix passed away last summer and I was devastated. But I let my children talk me in to a puppy last fall. He is a rescue and we really have no idea what all is mixed in him. He is the sweetest and would cuddle all the time if he could....this is Sinatra (because of the blue eyes)

And our 3 year old cat that my DH (the cat hater) has claimed for his own, and who is not so cuddly....this is Jeffrey

Nikki, I am pretty allergic to dogs and we realize that it depends on the breed of the dog. We went to tons of shelter and I would rub the doggies and give them cuddles. Some breeds I would just break out immediately and I needed a benadryl does. Others like the fox terriers I had no adverse reaction. We slept with our dogs in our bed and all I got was HOT with so much hair around me. LOL!!!

We have two sweet girls - a Vizsla (Roxy) and a Weimaraner (Aspen)

adored1.jpg

We've had Roxy since 8 weeks old, and got Aspen as a rescue when she was 4, after our first Weim died from lymphoma. They are truly our babies, and have no clue they're dogs. Totally spoiled in every way!

Roxy likes to sleep under a blanket, and is a super picky eater. Aspen is a garbage hound and hates feet (as in doesn't like you touching her with your feet)

My little Penny is my best friend! I have had her for just about 6 years now. She's a rescue dog. She wandered into our backyard on Mother's Day looking pretty dirty and skinny. No one claimed her, so I got to adopt her. Since she was about a year old then, I made that day her birthday.

She is a pretty funny dog. Sometimes I think she's a cat - she likes to perch up on the couch and sometimes she won't even lift her head when you come home! And other times, I think she's a big tough dog - especially when we meet other dogs when we're out for walks. But she's also really sweet and loves to snuggle. She loves her toys and loves to play. (Here's a video of her fighting Darth Vader!) She also sheds a ton - I have found pug hair on the conference table at my job because it goes everywhere with me!

Here's my latest page...

We also spend a lot of time with my doggy nephew Rocky, who is so sweet and gentle. He's pretty handsome too!

I have two fur babies - Sadie & Penny. They are both of the Havanese Breed which is hypoallergenic, quick learning, good for apartment living, etc. These two are not quite a year apart with Sadie being older. They are so funny - it's like having permanent 3 year olds. They LOVE people and always get excited when we have visitors and just like little kids, they have to find their favorite toy or bone and show it to everyone who comes through the door! LOL They also have opposite personalities. While Sadie is still calm and relaxed most of the time, she exhibits more of a security guard personality. She loves to watch out the windows and the first sign of any cat or dog or human for that matter, she is growling or barking. She also loves to play and will play and play and play and never seems to get tired. She is a daddy's girl and likes to save her treats by "burying" them in her blankets, etc. Penny, on the other hand, is pretty chill. She will occasionally bark out the window but unlike Sadie, she always has a good reason for it. Unless she's trying to distract Sadie so she can steal Sadie's treat - yes, she's fake barked on purpose many times to try to get Sadie's treat from her and it often works!! (Smart little thing she is!) Penny eats every treat the very second she gets it and she inhales while Sadie likes to slowly eat hers and take her time. Penny is more of a Momma's girl and she would rather lay around than run and play - unless they are outside, then she likes to play for awhile. Here's a page of Sadie chasing Penny I recently made:

Another funny note about my two dogs is that neither of them will eat out of a bowl. Nor will they eat off the floor unless it's carpet. It's so dumb but they just won't do it. Thankfully they only eat dry food but I think it's just weird they won't eat their food any other way.

But I love them both so much and I am so blessed to have them! :)

This is my furbaby Pippi. She is a rescue dog on indeterminable breeding (although there is terrier, chihuahua and a bit of Shepherd colouring in there!). We have had her for 4 years and we love her to bits and pieces. She is a nervous wreck most of the time and its hard to get a photo of her because the minute I point the camera at her she throws herself on her back at your feet ... as you can see.

She has a blanket at the end of my bed that she sleeps on but she likes to make the rounds of the kids beds at night. She is Mummy's girl and is just so devoted to the family :D

FurBABIES !!!!!

#1: Female Maltese. Had her since 3mo. Turned blind naturally in 2008. Then she become "dumb" aka no barking or whatsoever. Due to an extremely bad case of arthritis, she was PTS in Sept 2011.

#2: Male Maltese. Had him since 6mo. Died at age 3yo after a weekend stay at my ex's niece's ground level apartment. Cause of death = food poisoning.

#3: My Hamster Ville - all were adopted from cases of abandoned & home-breeding-gone-wrong. There were others whom I've not scrapped about. In total, I have had 14 of them - Winter Whites, Robo, Campbell & Syrians. You can read more abt them in my blog HERE.

#4: Female ST, I had her cos one of my gf's mum made noise abt it. So I took over. But when she reached 1yo, she began dominating my Maltese ger. At that time, I was a bad & lousy owner - knew nothing abt disciplinary and all those stuff. So I rehomed her when she was 2yo.

#5: Female MinPin, I helped to foster in the hope of able to adopt her. But in the end, it didn't work out. So I rehomed her.

#6: Last but not least ... the Mooing Monkey -turned- Computer Leech

All these fur babies are so cute

We have a staffer she is so cute and plays great with the kids but people fear them as they used to be bred for fighting years ago,but Ruby has no aggression in her at all
