I love to get up early, spend an hour alone. The rest of the day will be perfect.
What about you?

a perfect day for me is when the sun is shining and everybody is happy. A lot like yesterday... not so much today ROFL.

Good day none the less because I'M BACK!!!! boy I missed this place. But I'm very proud of myself for being disciplined enough to stay away and do my studies. So far I have an A and an A-.... waiting on three more grades which I should get next week.

I never like to get up early but it's tolerable if I can plan a nap for the afternoon lol. My alone time is after the girlie goes to bed. By 1 or 2 AM everyone is asleep and that's when I get stuff done. Homework and scrapping and catching up on TV shows kinda stuff. Sometimes laundry too! My perfect day is any day I can sleep past 7am, then getting up with the kids and making a big breakfast, going to do something outside, if it's cool enough, coming back and taking a nap, then dinner and a movie with the kids. Looking at that, my day revolves around my kids, eating and sleeping. LOL!

I'm with you! I love getting up at least an hour or so before everyone else...sip coffee and enjoy the quiet!

I like the *idea* of getting up early to do my own thing - go to the gym, do a bit of work, etc - but I always go to bed so late because I'm working after everyone is in bed that I choose to sleep instead.. A perfect day would be the day after I cleaned the house, so I can enjoy it without having to worry about the work that it took.. sunny with a slight breeze outside, and picnic dinner in the backyard. :)

way to go, Andrea! I have missed seeing you around the past few weeks!

I love my early morning time with my coffee, and then going to workout! I'm pretty grumpy if someone comes down to join me and disrupts my coffee hour!

After the grandbaby was born, Shelley's mom was here and got up early with me. I was watching the news, and she says to me, " I'd like to have an argument with you" (something about what was on the news). I just looked at her dumbfounded and let her know that I don't speak to, let alone argue with anyone at 4:30 in the morning!! She kept pushing the issue until I had to be downright rude to her.

For me it can be a few days but mainly a sunny day where we get to spend time with family just hanging out. The other perfect day would be one without any daily chores but they would have to be all done already. ;)

Yes, this. I can't really relax and enjoy the day if all my 'chores' are needing to be done!

I like to get up and have some quiet time before the house wakes up too, Anne. And don't really function well without it. Although on the weekends, I love to sleep in a bit, let the boys get up and put on a show for themselves while I wake up slowly, then have a cup of coffee and watch a show on my iPad or read a book in bed.

i love the first hour of the day when my husband goes to work around 5.30 yes i know i could go back to sleep but i use that time to read the forums, facebook and my kindle before the kids get up and our day begins

I am not a morning person, my hour that I look forward to is now (9-10am), after the kids have gone to school, I put a load of washing on and sit and cruise the web. Drop in here at TLP, then onto the news, catch up on emails etc. I don't do any housework and it's so nice and quiet.

I think tomorrow might be a perfect day - mid '80's, wine tasting and friends!

I'm a night owl Anne ... if I could get up at noon I would but sadly having kids makes that a bit hard :D
