Pad Patter: 4/26 - How old is your camera?

I got my Nikon in February of 2010, so a bit over a year I guess. I still saving up to get more lenses for it! It is not going anywhere for a very long time!

i only have a P&S .. it's gotta be around 6 yrs old now

I just bought a new one last June, but my other one was about 7-8 years old and was a hand-me down from my Dad. I still loved that camera, but the compact flash door broke and wouldn't stay shut anymore and was causing errors during saving. I finally HAD to upgrade and I really do love my new camera!

I have a Nikon D50 and a Canon P&S. I got both for Christmas one year... I just had to go check... it was 2006!

I'm still really loving my D90. I don't feel the need to upgrade at any point very soon. I have gotten a few lenses which help!

I just got my dSLR at Christmas, and it's my most favorite possession. My P&S I got last year for Christmas, and it's been taking horrible pictures lately. It's a Panasonic Lumix, and it's supposed to be really great, but if I hadn't gotten a dSLR for Christmas, I would have had to buy a new P&S. As it is, I'm glad to have it in my purse all the time, but I'm EVEN MORE glad I don't have to rely on it 24/7.

My DSLR is 3 years old. Our newest P&S is probably about 1.5 years old.
