What's your favorite gift you've ever received?

I'd have to say it was the Kitchen Aid mixer dh got me... uh... a long time ago. 2004? Even though I rarely use it (since I rarely use the kitchen lol), every time I do, it makes me so happy. :yesss

It's a tie with the necklace he got me that same year that I still have on. :heartlub

I have two favs :)

One is my graduation gift .....which was a vacation to a surprise destination ..... All I knew was that we are going to a beach ! In the days leading up to the vacation .... DH gave huge hints that we are going to Florida .....then at the airport he said we are going to San Diego .... And we finally landed up in Hawaii !! :D

Another fav is a ring that DH gave for 2010 bday....one I really wanted .... So that's y that's special too :)
 
A few years ago, I told my family I didn't want anything for Christmas. Well, my mom decided to make me a scrapbook page featuring my doggie. It's framed in a shadow box. Considering I always give my family scrapbooks as gifts, it was so super sweet to get something homemade back. It really was so sweet!
 
My dSLR for sure!! DH bought it for me for Christmas 2008, we were totally strapped for cash and I did not expect it! Best gift ever!! I was also really glad that he went and made the decision of which model to get -- I'd been looking into cameras for months as I wanted to get my first SLR, but I couldn't choose. :D
 
For our first anniversary, DH bought me my first DSLR camera. I've upgraded since then but that started it all!!!

Is it totally shallow of me to say my iPhone 5 that DH surprised me with for Christmas this year? LOL!

Actually the real answer is two presents from my sons... 3 years ago when they were 3 and 5 years old, my husband gave each of them some money and told them they could pick out a gift for me for Christmas. He took them to Target and they both marched in with total purpose and knew exactly what they wanted to get me without any help from my husband. My old son bought me the cutest black and white houndstooth purse (that I still use today) and my youngest bought me a really pretty necklace because he knew I liked jewelry. It just melted my heart!

 
I have to say my canon 7D...even though I actually purchased it, I was just farting around one night on the web and he said "just order it"....this was last May,.....I still have alot to learn with it, cause I had a Canon T1i, but it was a complete upgrade and I still don't think I have it completely down! LOL
 
At the moment my new camera is obscuring every past gift I've ever received, LOL!! I'm actually really painful to buy for, so I usually get gift cards.
 
i think it would have to be my Nikon d5200 that i got for my bday this year. :beat
