OMG! We're having a lil' battle over here! I have always been the one to only have the lights on in the room I'm in but the rest of my dysfunctional family leaves lights on all throughout the house day & night! Geez....it just irritates me!

I cant be the only one here that has this problem, am I? Any one else have this issue? Any issue around the house that just gets you?

Umm... you would hate me. I forget to turn stuff off all over the house all the time, drives John nuts.
 
I'm always going around turning the lights off after the kids leave for school, but it doesn't bother me too much. My big annoyance is that everyone in my house is constantly leaving drawers and cabinet doors open. Drives me nuts! Especially when I walk into them or whack my head on them!

I do that too... leave stuff open that is. lol John has notes all over the place saying to shut certain things. lmbo. remind one day to take a picture of one of them.
 
My husband has whacked his head many a time on cabinet doors I leave open. I'm an awful wife really.
 
Yep, I'm the culprit in our house, too. I'm bad about leaving cabinets open, but I'm pretty good about turning lights off.

Now, leaving FOOD open drives me nuts. CLOSE the bag of bread, pretzels, jar of peanut butter for goodness' sakes!!
 
The food thing gets me...not closing something up or not putting it back in the refrigerator. Also I am apparently the only person who is capable of picking up socks off the floor.

I am that person in my house too, tracy!!

I am pretty good about turning lights off, although my closet light gets left on ALOT and that drive my husband crazy, but other than that we are both pretty good about turning them off and reminding the boys to turn theirs off as well!
 
We sit in the dark here all the time until we need to put the lights on! My house doesn't even get that much natural light. But I pay the electric bill so I make sure to shut them off!
 
All that stuff annoys me, and not a day goes by that I haven't had to go around and turn off lights, shut doors, shut cabinets, pick up dirty dishes, pick up papers, throw trash away, put dirty clothes in the laundry, hang up coats and sweatshirts, and pair up shoes and put them by the door.

SS is constantly in and out of the house when he is here on a weekend, and he invariably does the bulk of it while DD is napping. Every time he comes in and out (and leaves the door partially open behind him), the dog is driven into a barking frenzy. It drives me mental.
 
Our house is like Blackpool we have all the lights on at some point lol,open doors bug me why can't they shut them as they walk through and bugs me even more when it's the dog think I need to work on teaching her how to shut the door
 
I always know where my hubby has been in the house by the lights that are left on... haha... I pretty much have to walk behind him when he gets home, shutting off lights...

however... I'm really bad at closing cupboard doors in the kitchen... :o ironically, not closing dresser drawers in the bedroom drives me insane! haha

Ugh... my boys leave every light in the house on too, but it doesn't bug me too much... but the cabinets and drawers they leave open drive me insane! LOL! :)
