Pad Patter: 4/1 April Fool's?????

I didn't do anything...boo hiss bummer mom...
but I did warn my kids this morning
"Be on your toes today, it's April Fool's Day"

my 5 year old says,
"you want us to PEE on our toes today?"

hilarity reigns in the van on the way to school!

no fun tricks here today, but
I did open the doors and windows for the first time since October,
and it looks like that isn't gonna happen for at least another 10 days
guess Mother Nature had an April Fool's Joke on me lol

no tricks here! I hate them though. I had to work today and I was ready for a bunch of annoying co workers, but it was a pretty chill day.

None here either but a funny story. My MIL has always done not so friendly April Fool's pranks. She has always liked scaring my husband out of bed. For example, the horses at my FIL's farm got out & are out in the neighborhood so hubby needs to get down there ASAP. Once she told him about a fake electrical fire that he had just worked on as an electrician (wasn't true). Well for the last 7 months, she has thankfully been out of our lives. This morning when hubby got up, he asked if his mom had really called or did he just dream that. IT was in fact a dream as they aren't speaking. After I realized what day this actually is I told him that she must have pulled a prank anyway by making him dream that she called. Goofy I know but I found it ironic that he dreamed of her on this day.
