One more week.....just one more week and I'm outta here for Spring Break! As a matter of fact, next Friday starts Spring Break here and I can't wait. I've got a ton of things I want to accomplish during the 10-day break but I know I can't get it all done either. So far, I want to:

Clean out the Garage
Paint 2 bedrooms
Go Camping
Go Shopping
and
GO
GO
GO!

I feel so energized right now and I know I can't do everything and after this week, I'll probably not want to do anything but sit on my big butt!

What do you and/or your family have planned for your Spring Break?

We homeschool year round so we don't really do an official spring break...we do a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off sort of approach (with lots of unschooling happening all of the time). We're actually starting a new 2 weeks on Monday so her next break will be the 25th through the 5th. There's a good chance we'll be moving those two weeks...but we're still trying to figure out ways we can hang on here a little bit longer though, so who knows.

Only one more week here before spring break too and we are ALL ready--teachers and students alike, I think! We don't have big plasn apart from some home improvement/redecorating type of stuff. Hoping to plan a couple of day trips maybe, but mostly pretty low key.

My husband (who is a teacher) has spring break a different day than the kiddos (which stinks!) so we don't have too many plans. I'm hoping for a shopping/movie/dinner date while the kids are in school, but we'll see.

As usual, we are planless. We thought about going somewhere, but it's easier to save the vacations for summer. I'm hoping for some warm days so we can clean out the garage and get started sorting stuff out for our big "no more baby crap" yard sale this summer!

Kids just get the Friday before Easter and the Monday after off. DH has to work Monday but we're planning to get out of town for a little getaway Thurs night and come back Sunday. I'm looking forward to it, but also kind of wish I could just spend some time working on projects at home, too!

The kids get the week after Easter off, but my hubby and I still work, so we'll take them out to my parents house each day. They love going over there because they get to play on the computers as much as they want. :) That's a vacation to them. sigh.

we don't have any real plans for spring break. maybe we'll surprise grandparents and go see them for a few days? other than that, i REALLY want to get some projects done around the house. they've been lingering for WAY too long!

We are going this week(taking the little's out of school) for a pre-Spring break vacation! My hubs got a new and way better job, it starts the 18th, so today is his last day at old job!! We are gonna set up a shed in the back yard tomorrow, hang some fans in bedrooms, then Thursday after oldest is done with college classes head to the Big City of El Paso! woo hooo...hotel, amusement park and indoor pool swimming! No cooking for 3 days!

we have two and a bit weeks until the Easter break here so for us its a busy time for the kids who are both finishing school assignments and then my eldest has exam block starting next week so no rest for the weary here I'm afraid .. but we are heading up to spend Easter with the in-laws and then the girls have a nice two week break from school :)

DH has talked abt taking his son someplace when it's his son's Spring Break since he took a few days off with it being 'his' year.

DD is too little for school, and I have to work, so no plans for us.

If everyone is feeling better at our house and my parent's house, I am planning on shipping the boys off for a few days. Hubby is going to be in Atlanta for work for a few days so it will just be ME!!!! I can scrap all I want!!!!

My daughter has the Get-Out-of-Town bug, and is planning (or wanting to) go camping somewhere. Well....we'll see. She also wants the both of us to go to a spa, get a massage, etc for my birthday. *sigh*. I'd be happy with a decent haircut and a 26 lb kettlebell.

pretty much nadda here...unless my oldest DD (college) decides to do some traveling with her grandma (now retired)
