Pad Patter: 3/7 - Clutter Spot

i HATE clutter!! if I lived with no one, there would be no clutter. as it is, real life has taken over, and there are a few spots...

1. the end of the island in the kitchen, where the mail collects
2. the end of the dining room table - this is where I pile all the kids' things when I find them lying around where they don't belong... I TRY to get them to clean it off each day, but sometimes we just don't get to it.
3. The laundry room. OY! next time I buy a house, the laundry room will be bedroom size with LOTS of storage and hanging room. Seriously. I do laundry on the fly all.the.time. and can't always get it put away right away.
4. Master closet - this sucker is HUGE... too big really... and maybe they should have switched the size of the laundry and the master closet... anyway, anything that doesn't have a space seems to land on a shelf in our closet. It's on my list of spring cleaning projects for sure!
 
During winter, it's my scrapbook room. It has no insulation & gets too cold to play in so I use it as storage mostly for things I'm too lazy to put away. I just shut the door & no one INCLUDING ME sees. Ha!
 
My Bedroom is more like a storage room!


Other than that its my computer desk and the small worktop in my kitchen

lol sounds like here,in my defense i tidy then my 3 year old wrecks it so why bother
 
Yep, my laundry room is always a mess too, but it's in the basement and no one sees it so I don't even care. Also, the area around our back door where we all come in from the garage. There is a coat room in our house too, but it's off the front door that we don't even use. There are always shoes and coats and back packs piled up behind our big chair there. I don't mind too much if the stuff is semi-organized and behind the chair where I can't see it, but when my kids just make a trail of their stuff through the middle of the room as they pass that area... it drives me crazy!

Ok, sure! I'm going to blame Penny! She has her doggie toys all over the floor too! I pick them up every night and they are all out again when I get home from work.

This is us too...it's awful. I don't even know how to fix it. As soon as I clean a surface off stuff seems to magically reappear. Ugh.
 
the kitchen bench is the biggest clutter spot at my place ... everybody dumps everything there!
