What are your "must haves"?

I must have a variety of Philosophy body washes and body sprays. My favorites are the "Grace" ones, Pure Grace, Inner Grace, Amazing Grace.

I also must have Cherry Chapstick at arms reach. I have one in my desk, one in my nightstand and one in my purse.

I'm not picky about shampoo/conditioner/etc.

I have hormonal acne, so I do have to have products for that. I used to use Proactiv, but I switched to the Philosophy On a Clear Day line at Christmas and it's working great and seems to last longer for my money, so I will probably stick with it.

When I wear makeup, I seem to break out, so I don't usually. Even with the Proactiv foundation. I wish I could wear it daily, but it just isn't in the cards for me complexion wise, as well as... I am lazy. :giggle

What are your go-tos?

After washing my face with just soap and water, I put on a wrinkle reducer around the eyes and lather up the lotion to my face and neck. I'm not too particular as I figure any type of moisturizer is going to work.

I do wear makeup and hate leaving the house without my eyeliner. Trust me, you want me to have makeup on! I use Merle Norman makeup as it is lightweight and stays on for most of the day.

I do wear a little body spray and of course, some D.O. but haven't found any type of perfume that I gotta have. I'm looking but not putting forth a huge effort.

The hair is a whole 'nuther story! Its thick, course, wavy/curly, long, and has a mind of its own. Depending on my mood of whether to go curly or straight will depend on what type of stuff I put in my hair. But either way, I do have a cream that I put in my hair to give it some body and moisturize.

I am a Philosophy girl too! I love there 3 in 1 body washes and I have many fragrances.....Margarita is one of my favs. I also use their microdelivery exfoliating wash as well as the microdelivery peel.

I also use Olay Regenerist products - to work on the wrinkles I am starting to get.

I don't wear much makeup. My favorite perfume is "Falling In Love' by Philosophy.

I always have lipgloss on hand (either Philosophy or Bath and Body Works)

I've developed skin allergies after about age 35. I'm allergic to all chemical sunscreens, most fragrances, anything eye makeup or eye makeup remover related other than mascara and baby oil, and a TON of other stuff, even soap for goodness sake.

I can tolerate Cetaphil cleanser but only the one for oily skin, Neutrogena moisturizer and a couple of Olay ones. It's tough to find moisturizer without sunscreen. I know we all should wear it, I just can't! I can do the Olay/Covergirl age defy type makeup in the little pot but only because the sunscreen (the white stripe) is titanium dioxide. I can also wear a couple of kinds of blush.

For this person who never left the house without color coordinated eye shadow and eye liner, this has been a definite change. But feeling like I have to scratch my face off is much worse.

Can't do any perfume, any lotions except a couple... my beauty regimen is pretty limited.

Here are my "must haves":

Philosophy Purity Face Wash (night time)
Philosophy Microdelivery Exfolliating face wash (morning)
Philosophy Microdelivery Peel (once a week or so)
Bath and Body Works body washes (I like a variety)
Chanel Sublimage face lotion (morning and night)
Chanel Sublimage eye cream (morning and night)
Smashbox Face Primer
Lancome Tient Idole foundation
either Chanel or Lancome face powder
either Chanel or Mac blush
Chanel eye liner
Lancome mascara
Benefit lipstick
Philosophy Amazing Grace parfum
Shampoo...Eufora right now. I'm very picky on my shampoo and conditioner
Burts Bees chapstick

Those are my "go to" items and if I travel...I have to have everything I listed.

Oh I love Philosphy body wash. I just ran out of the last set I had - which was a "baking" set of vanilla, cinnamon and chocolate, so for now I am happy to use Bath & Body Works. I don't wear makeup but I do use moisturizer every day and I usually have a chap stick or lip gloss on hand.

I'm not real particular on brands of anything. I wash my face with handmade shea butter/cocoa butter/avocado butter soap I made - I use the same for my body. I also use baking soda for face wash - I just put a bit in my hand, make a paste, and massage on and rinse. When I get out of the shower, I lube up my face, lol. I just use any type of lotion, usually something olay or nivea - I just grab whatever. For makeup, I always wear foundation, mascara, and lip gloss. Everything else to me is optional. I LOVE aquafina lip gloss. They are my all time faves. I like BUrt's Bees balm too. I use whatever shampoo is lying around, but I have to have yummy conditioners. Right now I have a Loreal Ever Strong one and an Ever Straight Brazilian Keratin Therapy. I love to switch it up whenever I see something that looks good. THey key for me is to really moisturize my hair because it is super thick and looks awful if I don't. I also have shine spray that I spray on my tips and rub in to reduce frizzies which I get constantly.

i really don't have must haves i guess .. lol

my routine is so super simplified now adays..

i use dove moisturizing bar soap to wash my face (yes debra.. i stopped using dial hahaha)
I have an antibiotic spot treatment gel thinger for if i break out-- which, has been pretty non existent since i stopped using all the harsh kill your face never have acne again! treatments.. they just amde my skin angry and icky)
and every day minerals for makeup stuff.. Mascara & eyeliner i just grab whatever and don't care about brand... and that's it.

Philosophy for skin care
Bare Minerals for make up
I also really like the Burt Bees Lip shimmer for just a quick moisturizing touch of color.

I did a blog post not too long ago about some of my favorite things HERE!

I have to use a body wash with loofa - no bar soap for me - usually I use Dove bodywash of some sort. I wear make-up daily, but am bad about washing my face at night - I know I know...major no no! I use clinique moisturizer, but I need to find a good eye cream again - have been out for a while and hate spending the money on it. I also want to try THIS!

You girls are sooo lucky to get this stuff so cheap!! Beauty products are usually at least twice the price in Australia. They are a little bit less in Malaysia, but there is a lot less variety and a lot of pruducts are whitening.
I really like Aveeno skincare products, Loreal makeup and Revlon mascaras.

It is funny that you wrote that about it being cheap. The other day, I was whining to DH about the fact that I want to go back to London because beauty stuff (even with the horrid exchange rate) is soooo much cheaper there than in the states. As least as far as what I bought. As an example, I bought some eye rejuvenation roll-on stuff when I was in London. I think I paid 99 pence for it. Here, the same thing is $11. Crazy. It is the same with feminine hygiene stuff. A bunch of girls I was with stocked up on maxi pads and stuff in London because they were only 1/4 of the price they are in the states.

Speaking of London, they have the best bandaids! They are plasters there. Those things are the BEST!! They are clear and stay on forever, the wound heals underneath.

My routine nowdays:

Face Wash in the Morning: Lush Dark Angels Scrub
Face Lotion: Aveeno Radiance (can't remember the exact name)
Olay eye gel

At night, I use Avene Cleanance gel that I got from a Birchbox a few months ago
Olay Regenerist Night Resurfacing Elixir
Olay eye gel

As for makeup, yep, I wear it. And a lot of it. It's my other addiction besides scrapbooking and photography. :)

OMGosh...so glad you're not using dial anymore!! Dove is sooooo much better for your skin. You'll just burn it off with Dial! LOL!
