Do you nap? How often? For how long? Just on the couch or do you go to bed?

These are important issues, people.

I love to take a little snooze on the couch for 15 minutes in the afternoon, but the time I get tired is the time the kids start coming in, so you can guess how restful it is.

Any longer than that and I just feel groggy and worse than when I started. :dizzy

No naps for me! If I take even a 10-15 minutes power nap, I can't go to sleep at night.

mmmm i LURVE naps. unfortunately, i don't get them often. during the week, if i must nap, i can sometimes grab 30-60min in the afternoon if the tv is babysitting. otherwise, on the weekends, DH is great about working it for me to snooze - i'm a looooong napper so i can sleep from an hour to, uh, many hours! :) always to to head to my bed. i also lurve my bed.

No, no naps ever. I can barely sleep at night, so during the day is out of the question. LOL I do like the idea of a nap...if that counts.

OH, I love naps. I go through phases where I take lots of them and then I will not nap for a few weeks. I am a long napper though, usually napping for a hour to two hours.

Mmmm I love naps too. When it's casual nap time, I'm in my bed. Comfy cozy and can stay that way for a couple of hours. :)
When I'm desperate for a nap (sometimes after school), I'll hit the couch just so I can doze but still keep an eye open for the kids until DH gets home. If that doesn't work, I'm in bed at 7pm. lol

I love the idea of a nap, but I always feel so crappy afterwards that I've learned it's not worth it and avoid them as much as I can. Sometimes I'm just too dang lazy to get up and moving that I'll start to doze off, and I always regret it!

The only time I can nap is if I'm sick. Any other time it's just not worth it to feel that awful afterwards.

I don't nap often because I just don't seem to have time. BUT on the weekends occasionally we have a lay-around-and-be-lazy day, and then I sometimes nap for a couple of hours. THere is no such thing as a 15 minute nap for me. I just can't do it.

DD still takes naps, so I can nap then if I want. I'm always exhausted, so I can fall asleep anytime anywhere. DH will usually let me sleep until 9 or 10 during the week since he has to be up for work and will get DD up and get her started in her morning routine. The three of us took a long nap this past week, actually, when he had taken a day off for a field trip for my SS. It was awesome. :)

Almost never for me. If I'm sick or getting sick, it will happen. I'm the type that keeps going as long
as I can and if I slow down too much, I fear I won't get going again, lol. So, when I go to bed, I drop!

Once in a great while, we will get a nap on Sundays, and that is nice!

I wish I took naps, lol!

Can I take one now please???????? I love naps! I mostly get them in on weekends - maybe an hour or so. Wish I could take some more! LOL!

I very rarely nap because I always wake up grumpier than before I fell asleep. There are occasions where I'll nap for about 1.5 hours on the weekend when the kids nap...but not often.

And I do it on the couch or in the bed - doesn't make a difference to me.

I only nap if I absolutely just can't fight it off anymore, and then I'm usually zonked for at least two hours. I've gone through phases where I had to have a nap nearly every day, but I haven't much lately, maybe two times in the last few weeks. I did go to bed at 7:30 Wednesday night though. I started out just to lie down for a bit, and ended up sleeping 10 hours until my alarm woke me up in the morning. :giggle

I love naps too! Usually I need one by the end of the week because I've stayed up WAY too late scrapping for too many nights in a row and I'll catch a quick one while the kids watch a rare TV show. I don't get one very often, but I do love to try! Every once in awhile I'll get one on Sunday afternoon after church and then I can easily sleep for over an hour! :)

In college, I was queen of napping!

I do have a GREAT nap the day I run my long (15+ miles) runs. Man that's a great one. lol

sometimes...30 - 60 min is good for me. Especially if I'm really tired and I have to go in to work in the evening. I like to nap around 3pm if I do. I really only do it once a month or so now...it used to be everyday.

nope...unless I am sick or have a migraine. Hubby can nap anywhere and does daily. lol...my child never naps
