Pad Patter 3/24 - Dry Cleaning

OMG! DH insists on taking his jeans to the dry cleaners so there is a perfect crease. He didn't care too much for paying for the service and I tried to explain to him that once they get the crease in, it'll hold especially since they're like cardboard when he brings them home. I think he's paying $13 a week. Yea, it'll add up each week!

Wow, did you ask him if the crease is worth $676 a year? :giggle

We pretty much only take in DH's suit as needed, which is maybe once a month or so, depending on what he has going on. It runs about $7 each time.

i take all of my dh's dress shirts to the dry cleaners. . .there's NO WAY i'm ironing and starching all of those babies. he doesn't wear a dress shirt everyday, but close. we probably spend $35 a month or so~

All of DH's shirts for work go to the dry cleaners, along with the occasional suit and some of my dressier items that are dry clean only. If it's just his shirts from the week, it's about $12.

nothing. never. :p everything is washable and none of us are weird about creases :p sometimes the bfs work clothes get mixed up in my laundry... but woo .. he works at a job where he can wear t-shirts and jeans <3 yay

DH takes all his shirts & pants.... dunno how much he spends but probably around $10-12 a week.

I still haven't picked up a bridesmaid dress that I sent to the cleaners about 5 or 6 years ago. LOL!!!!!! I rarely bring things and when I do, I rarely remember to pick them up!

The only reason I've ever been to the dry cleaners is to have my zippers fixed LOL. $15 is cheaper than buying a new pair of pants.

DH finally takes his shirts. I used to spend several hours each Sunday ironing them, and it just got to the point where I dreaded Sunday. Especially when I was working too. It didn't make any sense to me. (I do enough of his laundry anyway. Yesterday, he went through three t-shirts.) He has to wear a dress shirt every day. I'm not sure how much it costs him each week though.

I have never ever dry cleaned anything. I refuse to buy anything that needs it. DH does dirty work, lol, so he wears tees and jeans, and I work from home so don't need to be dressy, and have no reason to buy extra fancy things.

I don't think I've ever had anything dry cleaned either. I make sure not to buy things that need dry cleaning. DH and I can both wear pretty casual clothes to work, so that really helps.

A couple times a year I take my husbands suit in (he doesn't wear it often), and about once a year I have our down comforter cleaned.

We dry clean things on an as needed basis, so not a set time each month.

My hubby can wear polo shirts to work. If he had to wear dress shirts, we would def take his shirts to
the cleaners on a regular basis. He does take his church suit and shirts to the dry cleaners like once
a month, that's about it.

I occasionally get a dress or skirt dry cleaned, but not too often.

I only have things done that are dry clean only...certain sweaters and blouses. I take my boys and dh's shirts and suits when they need them (if they've been hanging in the closet for a year and they're all dusty!)
