Yea, I know but I've got to get my butt in gear and soon! I actually got into a hot tub last evening with some friends and was grossed out even looking at myself in the mirror since I let myself go!

I'm think of starting the 30 Day Shred with Jillian Michaels but some of my friends tell me that it is rough!

What's your routine for exercise? Are you doing your own thing or going by some sort of workout routine?
 
right now it's my own thing, but it's not going so well and I'm just a big fat blob right now. My dh and I both are going to step it up when I get back from Vegas next week. Not sure yet what we have planned...but we HAVE to!!
 
I am so terribly lazy. :( I have been playing my Wii fit a bit more trying to do some sort of exercise. Now that it's so nice out I want to start taking my dog out more again. But it's hard for me to find the energy or motivation.
 
I'm feeling especially convicted abt being healthier after a sermon this morning on 'the body being the temple of the Lord,' so I don't have a set routine, but I'm going to start something!

Right now, doing 'Just Dance 3' and walking/biking/playing outside with DD will help tremendously.
 
I try and work out 4 days a week! Although I hate doing it, I feel so much better when I'm done.
 
I run 3x per week. Do strength training 2x per week. Go to interval gym class once a week. Then if I feel like it I do a DVD workout. If I don't feel like it I rest, LOL.
 
We're walk/running 3.5 miles three times a week. Hoping to some day be able to run the whole thing.
 
lately i haven't been doing anything :( ughhoo!! i really need to start up a routine again ... i'm thinking of restarting the C25K and the 30 day shred ... and i also love going to zumba, step and yoga classes at the gym ...
 
Before I broke my leg/ankle in a million pieces, I was going to Curves 3x a week, plus doing Nick Jr. Dance on the Wii with my DD. That's so fun, and lemme tell you, it's a GOOD workout!! :faint2
 
I work out on a regular basis, 3 times a week and then squeeze in power walks, bike rides and such in between. My workout is an hour long, a 1/2 hour on my tread mill & stepper and the the half hour consists of lifting and toning. There is nothing like the feeling after a good butt-kicking workout!
 
Right now I'm not doing any exercise but I want to start. Seeing my mother in law in very bad physical shape due to a lifetime of neglecting her body has me thinking. I'm very overweight and I hate exercise so I'm trying to figure out what to do. I used to go to Zumba classes which I loved! I can't afford them any more but I'm thinking of trying a Zumba video. I'm just worried I won't be able to keep up.
 
i try and get to the gym 3-4 times a week. i do the spin class, body pump, body attack and body step classes. when the weather is warmer here, i'll substitute a few of those classes to run/jog outside.
 
Oh, I seriously hate exercise. Seriously.

But in an effort to keep my body strong, I've been sucking it up and walking 3-4 days a week and 2 weeks ago I did 5 days of the 30-day Shred. I'm planning to pick it up again tomorrow although after missing for about a week, I bet that it's going to hurt. ;)
 
Last year I went to the gym 4 days a week for 4 months, then it turned to 3 times, then once... In the whole 9 months I only lost 4kg. And I was eating the same, if not better. So I have been over the whole exercise thing.
Now I am starting to get flabby, even though my weight is the same, so I have started zumba twice a week and swimming once a week. It's great because they are both right here in my apartment, so I don't have any excuses about not being bothered getting there.
 
Usually I either run or do Jillian Michael's DVD's. But I just started taking a boot camp class 3 times a week which focuses on strength training. I love it. Every day is different and he really kicks our butts! I am always sore somewhere the next day. I have already noticed a difference in how my clothes fit. Unfortunately the scale is not really moving. I also want to run two days a week and then do something with the family on the weekends. I have only managed one run a week so far...I need to step it up soon though because we are signed up for a 10k in June!
 
has anyone tried the 30 day shred? wondering how it is.

Megan Turnidge did this after having her last baby and she looks AMAZING!! She loves it and says that it totally works!

I hvae started the C25K and I try to do Wii exercises everyday. lol!
 
I walk every day with my dog and that's it. I think I need to kick up up a gear now and am planning on playing Just Dance or something similar on the Wii, in the privacy of my own home as I am incredibly uncoordinated and will probably injure someone if I do Zumba or any type of class! :giggle
 
I hear you....
I NEED to do something, but I am the worst for motivation for exercise.
Anyone try the Wii Zumba? My hubbie got it for me for Christmas, and I've yet to try it.
