Pad Patter: 3/13- Ice cream

Right now I have three.
1. Ben and Jerry's Americone Dream. It is vanilla ice cream with Carmel, fudge, and pieces of ice cream cone.
2. Edy's Mudslide. It is coffee ice cream with pieces of chocolate cookie (kind of like ice cream sandwich cookie) and chocolate syrup.
3. My all time favorite: Hagen Daas Coffee ice cream. It is way too expensive though unless someone else is treating!

I'm an ice cream addict. There are no bad flavors.

I kind of agree with this!
although, I am kind of partial to ice cream with chunks of goodness in it :)

Right now, my favorites are from a local-ish company called Brahms: Peanut Butter Cup (swirled with creamy peanut butter and little peanut butter cups) and Triple Chocolate Cheesecake.

I could definitely eat some ice cream right now and it isn't even 9:30 in the morning! LOL

I can't have real ice-cream, but I love making "ice cream" from frozen bananas and I like to add in some walnuts and semi sweet chocolate chips and it tastes just like Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey...

Speaking of Ice Cream, if anyone wants to join me, in memory of a friend who lost his battle to Melanoma yesterday and to honor his wife and two little girls, we've declared March 21st, Ice Cream For Breakfast Day, it's the one year anniversary of his diagnosis and something he came up with to show that life is too short and we should enjoy every minute we have... I wish he could have enjoyed the first annual event, but if anyone wants to join me in having ice cream for breakfast next week let me know, I'll send you the link on Facebook... Or if you're already FB friends with me, I posted it last night on my wall... I would love to have non-babywearing friends join us :wub

Coffee or cookie dough or Breyer's vanilla. :) I like the Ben and Jerry's Late Night Snack. I just try not to keep any in the house!

As of Sunday night, it was Vanilla, Strawberry, and Chocolate! Also known as Neopolitan and it was even better with a banana, ice cream toppings, and whipped cream w/ a cherry! HA! Yah, I made DH go to the store for Banana Split stuff! YUM-O!

Heather - this is so cool! I will definitely join in. One of my dad's famous quotes (well, famous in our family :)) is: "ice cream is a suitable meal replacement." They are really words to live by, and I've had ice cream for breakfast on more than one occasion. :D

What a cool idea. I'm so sorry to hear that he lost his battle though. I just sent you a facebook friends request too.

I'm actually picky.

My fave is Rocky Road, but I do like Dreyers French Silk. I'll get Mocha Almond Fudge if there isn't the other two.

I do love Frozen Yogurt...love an Orange and Tart swirled...maybe peanut butter froyo too.

If there isn't something I love (like one of these), I'll just walk out!

I'm not a big ice cream person. I do like Rocky Road. And sometimes I like a soft-serve swirl cone with vanilla and chocolate. Most boring person evah. :p

But I'm totally up for ice cream for breakfast to celebrate... I'll check FB. :D

Ahhhh lerrrrgic to ice cream...

I have been testing out some Almond Dream chocolate non dairy though, it's tasty... I used to love ice cream and had it almost every night before bed (no really)... vanilla with chocolate hardshell or chocolate.

Ice cream is my biggest down fall, right next to chocolate. So if you combine chocolate AND ice cream I a totally a lost cause. I even have a most favorite brand... if anyone is from UT, my favorite brand of chocolate ice-cream is the BYU creamery chocolate. mmmm! I am drooling just thinking about it. I especially LOVE it when it has been sitting out for a little bit so it is slightly melty and super soft. OH MAN!!! YUM!!! Blue bunny chocolate is pretty decent too. :)

We have a local drugstore called Rite Aid (not sure how nation-wide those are) and they sell an ice cream brand called Thrifty ... they make my all-time-favorite: Chocolate Malted Crunch. It's unreal. A close 2nd would be vanilla soft serve from DQ. I adore that stuff!
