Do you have any? Coca Cola kitchen? Steampunk bathroom? Outerspace kids' bedroom?

I don't, all my stuff is boring. Most of my rooms don't even have stuff hanging on the walls. I like bold paint colors, though.

We used to - our first kitchen was apples; our second kitchen was grapes/wine. Now it's not themed, but it is a deep orange, so I wouldn't exactly call it boring! LOL!

we used to have a Coca Cola Family room... we only have the curtains left and they need to ba changed!

My oldest decided she wanted a "farm" themed bedroom, since her little sister will be moving in with her soon. We got them John Deere girls bedding for Christmas and I'm collecting other themed things to redo their room. Our bathroom is rubber ducks. The rest of the house is hand me downs. Fingers crossed next year will be the year I can finally get new furniture!

I just decorated our new master bedroom in a "London" theme. I've always been a tad obsessed with English culture and my husband is happy to humour me lol I think in part because of the Jubilee and the Olympics, etc. London was very "in fashion" in the home decorating world last year so I was able to score a ton of really cool stuff (like this bedspread and pillows)
Everybody else probably thinks it's really lame but I'm in heaven every time I walk in the room lol!

When my SIL & BIL had their new house built last summer our nephew wanted a pirate room. This is the main wall painted like a treasure map and eventually once they were moved in the rest of the room was decorated, complete with a boat bed.

DD had some Winnie the Pooh stuff strewn about her nursery when she was a baby...I think that's the closest we've ever come to a theme.

Nope, I don't think I love any one thing enough to dedicate a whole room to it. This thread made me think of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, you know how they always do completely-over-the-top theme rooms for the kids? I haven't seen that show if a few years but that always sort of drove me nuts. Also, this is sorta related and makes me laugh:

maybe the kids rooms a little bit, but not really. isaac loves castles & dragons and all things medieval, so he has some pictures of dragons in his room. sebastian's has like maps and road signs and stuff. and meagan WANTS an ocean room, but her ideas and mine are not quite the same. she would love it if i painted all the walls blue and painted seaweed on the walls, not happening. perhaps, though, i will concede to some blue on the walls with a few decorations that feel ocean-ish. i just don't do themes much, so i have a hard time with it.

I used to have a jalapeno kitchen (years ago) but nothing over the top. Other than that, the only themes we went with were kids bedding when they were little.

Lynette, I also thought of Extreme Makeover Home Edition. Doesn't it make you wonder if they ever think about how much it's going to cost those families down the road to make those rooms "normal" once the kids mature a few years?

Boden wanted camo in his room when we moved, so we did camo bedding and that's as far as I went with it. :) Same for Jake - he wanted space, so I did outerspace bedding and then when I did his name wall hangings (posted here somewhere) I did them with an outerspace kit. Otherwise, nothing themey.

My DD (7) has a hot pink, black and white color/themed bedroom with some Eiffel tower things thrown in there....needs to be a litle more organized with some new curtains and such....she absolutely LOVES it (me too)...my son (5) has a toy story themed room with micky blue paint and I hand drew and painted white cloauds on one wall and he has 2 posters framed...I have some more stuff to put in there, it just hasn't made it yet (he has all the bedding too)...my older son (12) has an Indianapolis Colts inspired room painted with Colts blue with a big white horshoe, Colts blanket (I made) and Colts curtains that I made as well. His room also needs to be a little reorganized but I am getting ready to turn a huge front room into a 3 kid friendly tv/game/homework/play room and I am very excited!
