Alright now! After my lil' trip to Walmart yesterday afternoon, it struck me that I probably need to start thinking about Easter and making baskets for the kiddos.

What are you doing for Easter Baskets this year? What's going in them (candy, gifts, etc)????

i've never done an easter basket for ce.. i almost feel like i should this year so he's had at least one ^_^

I usually put a little candy and then try to get some gifts. THis year there are some new Monster High Dolls coming out she has been wanting so I might try to get that. Last year I put some tshirts in there, a small doll, jewelry, etc. I try not to load it with too much candy because they get that in the egg hunt too. And she always wants a stuffed animal even though we have a ton.

we usually do a small toy or DVD for each of the kids and then some candy items. This year I'm going to fill their baskets with products from Annie's (since they are all shaped like bunnies!). The fruit snacks are so cute! as well as the cheesy bunnies!

Then, we usually do some new flip flops, bubbles, side walk chalk. . . things they can use with the warmer weather.

I want someone to get me one of the Yoda Easter baskets I saw in Target and fill it with Cadburry Eggs! :)

I don't usually do a whole lot for Easter baskets, but since we'll be with my folks on Easter morning, I'm sure DD will have a huge Easter basket waiting for her.

When I do one, it's a few pieces of candy in a few of those plastic eggs, Spring-y stuff like bubbles or sidewalk chalk, an Easter-themed book, and some kind of little toy like Matchbox cars or Little People.

I don't know what we'll do, but we'll do something. Easter baskets were a staple of my childhood, so even if we just get plastic buckets and decorate eggs, I'll add a few surprises and hide them around the house. I love Easter. : )
