After watching the Oscars I have added a couple of movies to my must see list, but I would like some more.
Have you seen any good movies lately, either new or older?

I watched Midnight in Paris this weekend. I usually dont like Woody Allen movies but I actually enjoyed this one. Will never want to watch it again but it was well worth the RedBox rental. We also went to see The Journey movie with the The Rock. My ten year old liked it but I was disappointed.

My dh and I saw "This Means War" with Reese Witherspoon this weekend. It was good. . . action for him, some romance for me, humor for both of us~

I think I'll see "The Artist" now that it cleaned house at the Oscars! I'm curious to see what people think of it that have seen it.

I've gone to see The Vow and Safehouse... both were good. Not amazing but any movie that shows Channing Tatum's tush deserves at least a "good" review. I love going to the movies so the whole experience was great. Otherwise I haven't been watching movies as much as I used too...

The only ones I've seen lately at the theater were The Descendants and Mission Impossible. I really liked both. I'm an "old school" Mission Impossible fan and so far I've only liked his first one, but this one was really good, and I'm a total Simon Peg fan!

Who doesn't love George Clooney? The Descendants was a great movie.

Two we've watched at home lately were "In Bruges"...a dark British comedy. Must love dark British comedies to watch this! LOL! The other was "The Guard"...a British Comedy. In Bruges was great....LOVED it, The Guard was good, but doesn't compare to "Hot Fuzz"...which is a favorite of mine!

Well, I never go to the movies because I hate spending that much money, lol. I wait patiently till the come out to rent. I finally just watched the Help which I've wanted to see since I read the book, then I watched all the Twilight movies since I just read them last month. Besides that, I haven't watched much of anything besides grey's, revenge, parenthood, and private practice. :

I saw The Vow two weeks ago - and it was kind of bittersweet and sappy - but I liked it. But I really LOVED Wanderlust, which I saw last weekend. It was so insanely funny. Paul Rudd is so cute and sweet, but then all these crazy things come out of his mouth! Probably one of my favorite performances from Jennifer Aniston, too!

In my attempt to watch as many Oscar noms before the awards, I just watched Tree of Life from Netflix and I fast forwarded most of that movie. I didn't get it. Hugo is next on my Netflix list!

My kids and I really want to see Hugo too!

I didn't hear great things about The Vow. . . so I think I'll wait until I can rent it or it comes to the $2 dollar theater near my home~

I have quite a few movies on my list, specially now with the Oscar...the last one I saw last week was the new one by Daniel Radcliffe, The Woman in black...it's kinda terror, not thaaat good...but I was curious to see it...

Last week I watched "Crazy Stupid Love" at home on DVD and "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" in the theaters.
Really enjoyed both of them, which is saying a lot because I don't like very many movies. The next two movies I want to see are "The Descendants" and "Moneyball".

I've seen all those (and I don't watch many movies either)...and I loved them all. We watched Moneyball on Rick's Kindle Fire while he was in the hospital.

Hugo is one I've wanted to see since I saw the trailer for it in the theater. My dh wasn't interested...that is until it took so many awards. Now he's willing to watch it with me!

We rented Moneyball. I thought it was allright and I am a sports fan but as for awards... I didn't get that.

Kenzie and I saw Hugo and it was a really good movie and brilliantly done. It deserved the cinematography awards and such.

We saw The Vow and liked it. It was not Oscar Worthy but a good romance with tragedy mixed in.

We don't go to the movies much cuz DH is not a fan of them. But we did see Tinker, Tailor, Solider, Spy and that was pretty good. Slow, but good.

One of the movies I saw recently and LOVED was It's Kind of a Funny Story. One of those that makes you really think. It made me laugh and cry, and it has a good soundtrack too.

DD and I also watched 50/50 (which we liked okay except for the spots where I cried) and Ides of March (because of Ryan Gosling and George Clooney). :D

Oh, and we watched Puss in Boots last night. LOL.

Ok...so I love Ryan Gosling...such a doll.

So my son thought we should watch one of his favorite movies..."Drive". One of the worst movies I've ever seen. I kept watching hoping something would happen, that it would pick up, or something (anything), but no...boo hiss! hated this one!

i finally watched mamma mia! Loved it!
Also watched Warrior which is really good. DH has proclaimed it his fav movie of all time. I wouldnt go that far, but its definitely good.

I took DD to the movies and saw The Vow. I am so surprised you guys liked it. I thought it was horrible - like I wasted 2 hours of my life that I will never get back and UGH - terrible.

I don't go to any movie that would resemble a Nicholas Spark book. The Vow falls into that category for me. I'm just not that kind of girl, LOL.
