Pad Patter: 2/2 - Hugs

I think I would like to be a hugger. I come from a family of non-touchers. My grandpa's way of showing affection was to give you a little light punch in the arm. And my mom's way of showing affection is to basically insult you in a joking way. We are so not the touchy-feely ones. But I hug Kennedy all of the time. That little guy just makes me so happy. I'm trying to break the no-hug no-touch cycle. :)

Last August, we did the Color Run. One of the girls throwing out color had run out, and she was loaded with it all over her clothes, so she decided to hug me to put the color onto me. She was *the best* hugger. LOL. I wish I could find her and tell her that. :D

Here is some info about hugging and health

Teaching in a Christian school turned me into a great hugger. The parents and kids love to hug so now I enjoy it.

I'm loving all these hugging stories!

Virtual (((((((HUGS))))))) to everyone xx

We hug in my family, but the first time I tried to give my mother in law a hug she went as stiff as an ironing board... So I have learned that not everyone likes hugs (why not ??????) even members of your family. But mostly I hug and tell people I love them, Life is to short not to.

I love hugging and being hugged by "my people" - family and friends (My oldest nephew is 19 and he still has a hug for me every time he sees me - it has never embarrassed him to hug me in front of his friends, love his big heart!). Random people, not so much.
