To those of you that celebrate Valentine's day, what are your plans for today?

We are renting Guardians of the Galaxy and watching it just the 3 of us, then we are going to a friend's house to eat. :woot:woot:woot I am exciting for not having to cook!:giggle

We are going wine tasting in Walla Walla this afternoon, but we don't typically celebrate Valentine's Day. I give John a pass on it since my birthday is next week and I feel sorry for the guy having to think up things to do just a week apart!

Guardians of the Galaxy is a fantastic film!

Oooo Enjoy your wine tasting! Its something I've always wanted to do xx

We are having a lazy day indoors, a lovely home cooked meal later for the 3 of us, and watching TV snuggled on the sofa in our Pj's with a Yankee Candle burning!

happy valentines day :) we did some gifts for the kids - and will just be chilling out today and getting stuff done (we leave for vacation on monday for a week). i'll probably try to cook something sort of special for dinner - but haven't decided what!

Have a fun day everyone! sounds like some great plans afoot!

We are planning to go to the movie this afternoon. At some point I need to grocery shop, but am procrastinating on that one. LOL!

Today our plans include getting groceries! LOL. Then stopping by our son and DIL's house to take flowers to our DIL and a Valentine gift bag filled with fun goodies to our granddaughter. Then going to the restaurant where our son is the chef for dinner. My hubby gave me a beautiful Pandora charm for my bracelet.

Hope all of the lovely ladies here have a great Valentine's Day.

My hubby just made his delicious homemade from scratch cinnamon rolls. Then we are headed to my daughter's volleyball tournament!

My husband surprised me with a bunch of beautiful flowers and card yesterday! Today we're all going out for Chinese so I don't have to cook. Yay, no cooking!

I am cooking and baking mostly- I enjoy both and don't do either often enough. Dinner tonight will be a recipe from my fave celeb chef Sam Talbot: http://bit.ly/samvday (you even get to hear him sing!) and melted hot chocolate from: http://www.adventures-in-cooking.com/2014/01/melted-hot-chocolate-with-sea-salt.html

Made homemade bread for the first time since culinary school. Crumb and crust are fine but um... definitely not useable for sandwiches so I need to figure something else out... hmm that topic might need its own thread...

We are settled in here, as the Eastern part of the U.S. is about to get hit with snow again. For like the 85th time in three weeks...just hanging around, scrapping and stuff.

We aren't all that into "Hallmark Holidays" as I call them...but tonight we are going out to a nice dinner, with a bottle of wine, and some great desserts! I won a local bakery's Facebook Valentine giveaway, making it a free date night tonight!!! Reservations at 8:00! Can't wait!

So, Aaron, stop holding back and let us know how you REALLY feel about snow! :D

I had coffee with two former teachers from the school I just retired from. Hadn't seen either for a year or more so we chatted for 4 hours at the local Starbucks. Really fun. I bought hubby the Sunday paper (here in Seattle, you can get the Sunday paper on Saturday - go figure...) and a half case of Diet Coke (it's actually a treat for him). The rest of V Day will be quiet at home watching TV.

My hubby and I went out for BBQ and now watching a movie at home with one of our sons.

Hope everyone had a nice day!

We had a nice relaxing day. We took Taz for a long walk along the river and then grabbed some lunch on the way back. Since then we've been marathon watching The Americans. Only two more episodes and we're all caught up.

I was concentrating on getting better :( and spend almost the whole evening at the store here I guess you can say I spent the evening with my "Valentine" :giggle
