Pad Patter 2/1: Valentine's Day Plans?

Just wondering what your plans for Valentine's Day are? I'm going to be spending mine Husband-less. He'll be in the field. I think out of 8 Valentine's Days we've spent only 2 together. So I'll just live vicariously through your romantic plans. ;)

I will however get to spend my day with my very own little Valentine...it's Noah's birthday! So it won't be a total bust. :)

I am such a romantic.. I'll be ditching my family for a weekend long scrapbook retreat. Yeah baby! :)

We'll probably exchange cards and not much else. DH usually get me a box of candy and maybe some flowers, but I'm eating healthy right now so I'll request no candy.

No plans here, and husband-less sounds pretty good actually. :giggle

Nothing. DH works second shift, so there's no going out for dinner. I'm not a big VDay person, so I don't mind.

I'm going to try to do something Valentine-y for DD, though. Maybe she and I will make cupcakes with heart sprinkles (which she calls sparkles) that afternoon. I already bought her cheap heart necklaces and a VDay teeshirt so we can have a photo shoot that day. I guess that's my biggest priority --- cute pics for all the cute VDay kits coming out! :giggle

Nothing...we never really do much for V-day. I want him to get my daughter chocolate and I'll get my sons some. But we'll see.

I have work+class till 9PM so no romantic dinner for us.. I guess we'll celebrate during the weekend.

Like most holidays, our festivities revolve around the kids. I always make pink heart shaped pancakes for them for breakfast :) I also usually try to make cookies or a something else yummy for us to eat that day. DH sometimes gets me flowers, but not always.

here in Brazil, we celebrate Valentine's on june 12...but with the "globalization", there are couples that celebrate on february, just for fun!

No plans here because if I don't make the plans, it probably won't happen! Yea, someone I know doesn't think ahead on ANYTHING!

Ok, rant over.

Nothing at all. I may cook us a nice dinner and try my hand at a fancy dessert of some sort. But that'll be the weekend before.
