We love to play board games, so I think we are going to add some new ones to our collection this Christmas. Right now, our favs are Sorry, Monopoly and Candyland. Tell me what your favs are...I need some kid-friendly ones!

We are more into card games like Uno, Old Maid, Go Fish. But we also like Connect 4, Guess Who and Battleship. I am adding Yahtzee to the collection this year.

My husband and I are obsessed (and super competitive) with Life. What about Boggle Jr. or Scrabble Jr.? Operation? I used to love to play Clue Jr. as a kid. My oldest is 3.5 and is just kind of getting into board games so we don't really have much of a collection.

We love board games. We bought my oldest daughter Quelf Jr. for her birthday and that has been very fun. It has you doing all kinds of silly stuff. We also really love scategories.

I love board games but never really get to play anymore! Trivia Pursuit and Clue are my faves and I also just played Cranium on Thanksgiving, which was so much fun! With my nieces, I usually play Sorry, Yahtzee and Memory - they are terrible cheaters and like to make their own rules! We got the girls the Disney HedBandz game for Christmas and I really can't wait to play that one. :)

we LOVE blokus at our house too!

my kids are little, so zingo is also a big favorite ... we play jenga some too :)

We play Candy Land, Snakes and Ladders, Operation and connect 4 and our favorite one is Jenga the kids always have a blast playing that one.

We love games too! One that Bugga *kind of* plays along..as in she is included and feels like she's apart of the game and it makes for some seriously fun dimension to the whole thing, but isn't really playing in a using-her-logic kind of way...is Apples to Apples. We have tons of fun with that one!

I think we just might have every board game known to man. HAHA. J/k. We really do have a lot.

And while we have TONS of games, a select few get played all the time and the rest mainly get ignored.
Sequence for Kids
Monopoly Jr.
Jenga
Trouble
Guess Who
Memory
Life
Apples to Apples Jr (although the older kids prefer the adult version)
Blokus
Operation
Yahtzee Jr.

we got my oldest this

for christmas and i'm kinda excited to get to play with her!

we really like Don't Break The Ice, Candyland, and Chutes and Ladders (my kids are 3 and 6).

My daughter is a little older (10 now) so our games are different than most of the ones listed here. Her favorite game right now is Settlers of Catan, we also love to play Fluxx (card game), classics like chess, checkers, backgammon, DH picked up Forbidden Island a few months ago which is a fun cooperative game. DD still loves to play favorites like Uno, Skip-bo and Sorry as well though. We're actually starting to run out of space in our game closet (we probably have close to 100 games) so I figure after Christmas we'll actually have to purge some.

I just introduced my kids to Monopoly and much to my dismay... they love it. Ugh. I don't love it, but they can't be trusted to play together yet because they cheat and then get mad at each other when they have to pay taxes or whatever. My youngest can't read so he is totally at his brother's mercy. :)

We love Parcheezi. I have an old version from when I was a kid and I don't even know if they still make it? We also love to play plain old War with a regular card deck.

My kids and I love games, too (my husband, not so much). My older kids that can read have started to like Scrabble and Scrabble Slam. They also really love Apples to Apples (we play the junior version). A fun card game for younger kids is Sleeping Queens... my daughter LOVES that one. Boggle is a really fun one when they are starting to read.

Brady is not quite 4 and Noah is not quite 2, so it's hard to find games for their ages. I think B would really love Operation, but Noah still tries to eat everything, so that one is a choking hazard! lol. My Husband and I love games. Our favorite is Scrabble and Bananagrams (speed scrabble). I think I need to check out Blokus since so many of you have and love it! I'm gonna keep watching this thread! :)

We love games too and the boys are just starting to get old enough to play some that don't drive me absolutely bonkers....seriously, I think the person who created Chutes and Ladders must have had a deep seeded dislike for adults (can you tell it drives me crazy?). We have been teaching them Skip-bo and Uno.

I also need to check out Blokus since it is so popular!

Oh, and dh and I LOVE Settlers of Catan. So. MUCH. Fun.

Uno Attack has a permanent spot on our kitchen table.
We also like to play Life, MouseTrap, Operation, and Sorry. :) Zac is asking for Jenga, so we might do that for Christmas.
