Have you seen some of the great designs in Christmas wrapping paper? WOW! There are so many types: traditional, scenic, kraft paper, foils/metallic, crepe paper, etc.

What do you use for wrapping presents and under the Christmas Tree? Do you have a variety of colors and papers or do you stick with one color or type of paper for all the gifts?

I usually stick to a color "theme." Last year was moss green and kraft papers with pops of red. This year, I'm doing gravel grey with curry and pops of red and gold glitter paper. :) Love love love me some paper source. :)

I don't buy many gifts so one roll is usually all I need. And since I didn't finish last year's roll, this years gifts will be wrapped in cute owl paper again! :)

Yea, I'm wanting to wrap my gifts with kraft paper and assorted green ribbons. Last year I went with all red wrapping paper but this year wanted something different. BUT.....love some of the gorgeous papers that are out there and then I see the gorgeous digi papers here and think to myself that wouldn't it be great to have a whole roll of this paper and that paper. LOL

We buy those matching sets, they have to have at least 3, and each kid get his/her own paper. Works good for the little ones before they learn their names. John and I share a roll for our presents. We haven't gotten any yet this year, but even though I have some leftover from last year I do NOT want to use it again. It was just too girly and the boys didn't like it.

Ds's school usually sells gift wrap as one of their fundraisers so we always get a few rolls from that and round out with the $1 Hallmark rolls from Walgreens that are available at Thanksgiving. :) So its definitely mix and match here. Funny though...Santa always wraps with a consistent wrap at our house. :)

I usually just buy whatever is cute because the kids love it.

I'd really love to do all the gifts in kraft paper with green or red ribbon and kraft ribbons tied on with gold ribbon. But at the end of the day, I really just want those suckers wrapped and not to spend days on wrapping!

We do 1 kind of paper for every person so it's easier to tell who's gift is who's.
I like to wrap with metallic paper *Can't resist it, it's soooo pretty!*

I love to wrap the presents with different cute papers for the boys. I love how this looks under the tree

One wrapping paper for Santa. One wrapping paper for everything/everyone else at our home. One wrapping paper for all the inlaws, outlaws, out of town laws, etc.

As much as I love color coordinating outfits for photo opps, for some reason the hodgepodge of color in the ornaments and gifts always makes me smile. :)

This is pretty much me too! Father Christmas has his own wrapping paper, then I get one for each of the children so it's easy for them to tell which are their gifts. Then I usually have another wrap for everything else. All it's all a hot mess of colours and patterns, no planning or pretty ribbons here!

i just use whatever i have or whatever i decide to buy at the store. we don't do gifts from santa, so i just wrap. i try to get the colors to at least not clash with each other. other than that, i just want to use up whatever i have on hand to get rid of it and get the presents wrapped. i would love to be all planned out and prettied up, but it just isn't my reality. :giggle

I try to get some papers that co-ordinate with the colour scheme on my tree. I'm really, really anal about having a matchy tree :). I like the idea of having a paper for each child, but I like to mix it up so they have to read the tags. It slows them down, and after the amount of time it takes to wrap I always find it quite depressing when they destroy their way through the paper!

Oh, don't I know how that feels since I'm the only one that wraps ALL the gifts!

Last year I did all my gifts in kraft paper and red and green baker's twine. For my girl friends I added a teeny tiny snowflake as well. They were pretty cute!

I just buy a bunch of whatever is on sale and go with it. It is just the four of us at Christmas every year and my three guys really couldn't care what it is wrapped in ... so I take full advantage of that:)
