Hi everyone! Can you believe 2011 is almost over??? A new year always has so much promise but then seems to fly by so quickly!

What were your favorite things about 2011 and what do you want to remember? What were your favorite movies, songs, books, etc.? How did you or your family change? If you've done a year in review page, please share!

movie - Sherlock Holmes two!!! Oh and Captain America
family change - *looks at big pregnant stomach* it's pretty obvious. :whistle

I completely forgot about a Year in Review page! Is it that time again?!?!?! LOL

Books: My worst year for reading since I only completed one.....Hello, Darkness by Sandra Brown
TV: Sons of Anarchy (Season 4) just about the only show that I really watch
Music: Nikki Minaj, Toby Keith, Bad Company, pretty much a little of this and a little of that
Favorite Moments: Spent lots of time at the lake over the summer, DH & I attended a few biker rallies, deer camp, visiting my grandmother for her 89th birthday
Big Change: My oldest (or our middle son) moved back in due to an upcoming divorce...so much for the empty nest AGAIN!

I'm still in disbelief that 2011 is over. Big year for us!

Music: Lady Gaga, Rhianna, Enrique, David Guetta, Justin Beiber!, Selena Gomez (concert), Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns, Robin Mark, Brian Doerksen

Favorite Moments: having the whole summer off to enjoy my own family and our recent trip to Jamaica

Big Changes: closed my home daycare of 8 years and went back to work outside of the home (kindergarten!!), our youngest started kindergarten and DH celebrated his first full year as a business owner. :)

It's been a great year!

Books: The Secret Benedict Society
TV: Once Upon A Time
Movies: Arthur Christmas
Music: Florence + the Machine, Milo Greene, SPOTIFY!
Favorite Moments: My mother moving from California to live closer by us!
Big Change: my daughter's T1 diabetes diagnosis

Fave books: I've read a lot this year, but I mostly enjoyed reading the Fever Series!
TV: Modern Family
Big Changes: Omgosh...so many things. I turned 50 this year...ouch! I stepped down from all my CT spots...another OUCH!! My husband's health issues and not being able to work right now. We went from a comfortable income to not knowing if we'd have anything coming in. He did qualify for state disability, but the medical bills will probably still wipe us out...even with insurance. We still don't know if it's GBS, or CIDP, or ???? I went from having him working out of state for about 8 months this year, to home 24/7. That's definitely a change! LOL!! We put my mom in a nursing home about 6 months ago. I've been flying up there every month to check on her and my dad. Her alzheimers has progressed quite rapidly too.
Favorite Moments: This has been a hard year for us here...so really the best time I had this year was when I went to Vegas with a bunch of digi-scrappers. I was able to just have fun, relax, and get crazy!

favorite thing - kindle. i had no idea how much i would love it. and my new laptop because my old one took a dump on me.
favorite memories - our new home i think. also, my kids finally got to spend some really good quality time with my dad and step-mom. first time in their lives. so that was huge. lots of great memories from that.
books - Fever series
tv - i like the mentalist, covert affairs, and once upon a time
music - i got on a chris tomlin kick a bit this year. also still love jesus culture
movie - hmmm... i think i'll go with harry potter, just because it's a landmark movie for this year in my mind.
family change - yet another relocation, new place to live, new friends, new schools. and intermediate school... eeep.
also, my step-mother was diagnosed with colon cancer.
