Happy Wednesday!
I'm off work for the rest of the week (which is way out of the norm for me). I have a million things I *could* do. I'm torn between doing things I *should* do, like laundry and putting Christmas decorations down and things that I *want* to do, like SCRAPBOOKING. I feel like I get overwhelmed with the possibilities and then I end up doing nothing because I can't decide.
Either way, I'm thrilled to have some time off of work! It has been a long year and I'm looking forward to relaxing and recharging before going back next week.

You sound like my husband - he's treating his vacation as if it was a work camp or something. I tell him to just sit down and relax. I'm much better than him at "wasting time", but then again, I do work less than him. Unless you count all the house chores I do, since I'm home more. I guess in reality we both work full time. LOL

Real life tends to get in the way and chores and errands are always waiting to be done but make sure you take time for yourself, enjoy some "me" time and just relax. It's important to recharge the batteries. Enjoy your time off.

Enjoy the time off! I’m with you and get overwhelmed and do nothing but I enjoy that too so it works! ;)

I’m on vacation this week too … burning days I can’t carry over to 2023. I’ve done a few chores, but mostly I’m parked in a chair reading, surfing the net, and watching shows.

I am taking my daughter and her youngest to the DMV (division of motor vehicles) to take his learner’s permit test. If he passes I’ll be spending time teaching him to drive. Here in Northern Virginia a teen has to spend 45 hours driving with his parent or “parental unit.”

Do a little of both! A little relaxing to make you happy, and a little work so that you're happy later. lol! :)

I am exactly the same way! I have a list of things I should do, and then there are ALWAYS things I would RATHER do! It seems such a waste to use your few days off to do all the responsible stuff, but then if you don't do them, when you run out of time, you could kick yourself for not getting them done while you had time! LOL
There has to be a balance in there somewhere! Enjoy your time off!

You ladies are the best. Trying to make sure I make time for the chores and the fun stuff. I definitely have time for both!
