Um... I totally didn't know yesterday was Friday until I realized today was Saturday. :giggle

Anyway my question today is...

What is your favorite restaurant(s)?

I love going out for mexican whenever I can convince dh. It's not his favorite so sometimes me and my oldest will go for lunch.

I also do my share of damage at Chipotle and Panera. And Buffalo Wild Wings, boneless please.

My FAVE restaurant is Wasabi - a Japanese steakhouse. But we only go there like once a year because it's hella expensive. lol

I love Mexican, too, but much like you, it's not my husband's favorite. He has a sensitive stomach and any onions or peppers or too much spice will set it off. So rather than listen to him moan about his stomach, I just don't go often.

Love eating breakfast out. Cracker Barrel is a favorite.

For faster food, we like Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers (regional chain) and Panera. I'm a teacher and our inservice day ritual is Chipotle, and I'm pretty excited that we have an inservice day on Wednesday so I can get me some Chipotle. It's also my oldest daughter's favorite place in the world, so maybe I'll get her a bowl to go and she can eat it for dinner that night. She really doesn't get it often because of dh's no onion/pepper issues.

Favorite place in the world? Cantina Laredo. It's Mexican but they have a few dishes my dh loves like brisket tacos. Old Chicago is a good choice for us. Our eating habits have undergone a serious change in the last two years because my son (18) has chosen to become a vegetarian so we often have to check menus before we go out to eat to make sure the restaurant has vegetarian options. Mexican and Italian are almost always OK. American chains like Applebee's/Chili's/etc are more difficult. We're figuring it out but we do a lot more Panera/Jimmy John's/Subway than McDonald's/Wendy's/Sonic.

Little Sleazers LOL! We like that around here too, but mostly because its cheap and I've got a lot of mouths to feed!

My fave is Cancun, a mexican restaurant here. Thankfully Chris loves Mexican as much as I do. Plus, I'm vegetarian and they have sooo many yummy choices for me. We usually go there every Wednesday night while all the kids are at church for AWANA - it is our "date night". I like Chili's too, but we don't have one closer than 1.5 hours.

I love Texas Roadhouse. Everyone gets to eat peanuts and throw the peanut shells on the floor. I love the energy of the place too, so fun! We usually go for occasions like Mother's day or Valentine's day, etc.

I love Chipotle, for fast food. I almost always get the chicken salad. Tom always gets a steak burrito. We're very predictable. We order online and have our standard order saved in there, so it's two clicks - Chipotle!

We eat at a lot of awesome local restaurants and bars (perks of a college town!) We get egg rolls from a local thai restaurant at least once a month. For chains I think Red Robin is probably my favorite. That's where we eat most often, especially Nicholas and me.

Ohh, I love all of those Angie, except I haven't been to Buffalo Wild Wings.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE sushi. (get my point? :giggle)

Love Mexican, too! But not as much as sushi.

Oh how could I have forgotten sushi! LOVE! My place has a lunch special - 2 rolls and a coke for $10. You know I'm all over that, and often. LOL

We usually eat out at local non-chain restaurants. It's just what we prefer. Even on vacation, we try to find the most popular local restaurants where the locals eat at. Here in San Diego, we have quite a few favorite local seafood, Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Italian, etc.

I love all ethnic food and we were so lucky when we lived in Philly, because there were so many restaurants to choose from. Now that we live in Erie, there are mainly chains no fantastic local places. There is a nice French restaurant called Bertrand's but it is on the pricey side and not a place the kids would eat. We tend to go to micro breweries in the area since DH and I like to try different beers.

Mmmm...I lurve Mexican food. I can eat it every.single.day. Chipotle and Freebirds are my faves for a fast "mexican" fix. I don't do Taco Bell....like ever. LOL!

I also love Japanese food...but, yeah, it's a rare treat since it's so expensive.

We're gluten free so that's a bit tricky in the restaurant department. For fast food, it's nearly always Chipotle, as they are super delish and GF friendly. As a family, we eat sushi out about once a week or seafood at Bonefish Grill or another local place. For date night stuff, it's nearly always a local restaurant.

I love Mexican food but I'm picky. I am married to a Hispanic man and I personally make fantastic mexican food, so any ole place ain't gonna do it. We had great mexican food in the south, but up here in the frozen tundra (Milwaukee area) it's hard to come by. My fave local (if you can say a 45 minute drive is local) is called Jose's Blue Sombrero. Other than that I really love The Cheesecake Factory and PF Changs. BWW also gets quite a bit of our business. If I'm craving a steak I'd rather have JJ cook it here at home cuz he rocks the grill.

I'm not much for fast food.

There are some nice (and expensive) restaurants in Chi town that I LOVE. When DH and I were dating he always wined and dined me downtown!!! Now, it's Buffalo Wild Wings, Olive Garden or McDonald's! LOL We don't get out without the boys!!

This. Only where we live there isn't much in the way of fantasticness, especially when it comes to any kind of ethnic cuisine. So...favorite locally here? Probably In N Out burger. :)
