Do you make New Year's Resolutions or not? If so, have you decided on any resolutions for 2012?

Same one every year - lose all this freaking weight! HAHAHA. Seriously though, I asked Santa if I could go back to WW so we'll see if he gives that to me or not ... I'm desperate.

I never make good on my losing weight resolution, so I'm going to try a generic "be healthier" for 2012. I want to just make better choices, bring lunch to work, cut back on take out and fast food. Wish me luck!

i do not make resolutions. i forget about them and then they go by the wayside. i know myself too well to think that a resolution will be the catalyst that changes me. if anything in me is to be changed, God's gonna have to prompt it, or else it's a lost cause.

I don't make resolutions, I don't need any added pressure. :giggle But I do have some generic goals, pretty much always the same: prioritize (instead of trying to do too many things at once), exercise more..

I quit making resolutions a couple of years ago. I felt like I was setting myself up to fail before I even began. I want to focus more on what I do accomplish as I don't always know what life holds for me in the upcoming year.

I just resolve to work harder, be a better mom, make healthy choices and to spend more time in the Bible. These are basic goals, like some of the other girls said - not necessarily resolutions! But it's always nice to start fresh each year and at least set goals!

i do! i love making resolutions/goals in the new year - for some reason my brain does well with the whole "it's a new year - you can start over fresh" idea ... haha - like i have a really difficult time starting something new on some random date, like september 26th LOL! so, even though i haven't historically always met my new years goals, i still like to set them :) lose weight/get healthy/exercise more is a HUGE one for me this year. as is: get my entire house organized/de-cluttered; organize my digi stash and my pictures; complete P365/project life (not exactly sure if it will be P365 or just weekly spreads ... ); scrap MORE (this year was just ridiculous - i barely scrapped at all :( .. i miss it!) ... that's about it :) haha - easy peasy :)

I do a lot of resolutions in a lot of aspects of my life. I try and pick one for each of my "entities" that make up me- wife, mother, friend, daughter, sister, co-worker, the "real" me... so, some of mine are... To actually listen to my husband more. As a wife I tend to act as if I am listening and not actually listening. As a mother, I will strive to spend more time teaching my kids organization, I believe if they are better organized they will do better in school. Heres to hoping anyway. As a friend, I need to make more time for friends that may not live close by and I let them know how much I still love and value them by taking time for phone calls and sending them little surprises every once in awhile. As I daughter, I want to get back into the habit of calling my daddy once a week again and to forgive him for not sharing some thing with me. As a sister, my goal is to make sure I let them know how much I love my brothers and for once remember their birthday cards and gifts on time for once! And as a co-worker I want to be a little more assertive with my co-worker so I can learn new things and start a few things that I see are needed. And the "real" me needs to continue working out and keep in touch with some personal relationships that are important to me instead of just letting them go and accept what they are.
