Its that time again for company, school, etc Christmas parties!

Do you have any that you are attending? Are they formal or casual? Playing any games?

DH & I have 3 parties we're attending starting next Friday. One for my office, one for his club, and one from where he retired from. There are 3 games we're playing at 2 of the parties and the last one is semi-formal and I'm still trying to find just the right outfit. Definitely don't want to wear what I wore last year as they take pictures of each couple.

We both have to take a gift to 2 parties for dirty Santa and I had to decorate my office door so I can win a $100 gift certificate. Ive got some finishing touches to make before judging on Monday. Fun Times!

I attended one last week for work. Very casual at a local restaurant here and they did a chinese gift exchange game which was rather fun!

We have an annual party we attend (it is tonight). It is casual, but no games. One of my best friends has a ton of people over and it is kind of potluck style. It kind of cracks me up because most of the people are cliquish, so no one really talks to us and my friend is always running around like a chicken with her head cut off, so it isn't like we have a ton of fun. We put in a regular appearance though. :) People love our bruschetta, so we always get the request to bring it, and I usually help her out with making sure things get out of the oven and onto the table and stuff like that, so even though we don't really get a chance to talk, I know she appreciates the help. It will be interesting this year because Kennedy is a going-on-two-get-into-everything maniac and her house is like a Pottery Barn catalog, so I don't know how we'll keep him under control. It may be a short evening. ;)

I love seeing about everyone's social calendars. Have fun, peeps!!! :)

I have one to go to tomorrow night. It's an ornament exchange my friend puts on every year. She's a fabulous cook and always has the most amazing food...they come up with incredible drinks (her husband and his friend bartender) and her husband has been brewing his own beer this last year, so we'll be taste testing that too! It's always a lot of fun!!

Just parties with families. At the party with my side we do a humorous grab bag exchange. Each person buys a small funny gift to throw into the bag. It's always a good time.

These parties sounds like fun! My sister might be having a little family party next weekend. Some of my friends are having a karaoke birthday party and I plan to sing some Christmas songs!

Aww... I wish I had one to attend! Or could throw one.

When we finally get our own place, I do plan on hosting an annual Christmas Open House with all sorts of different chilis and breads to eat. At the end of it, I plan on taking the kids (and whomever is still hanging around) out into the neighborhood to carol and pass out cookies to the neighbors. Too ambitious?! :giggle

I was supposed to go to one this past Friday, have been invited to a cookie exchange this Thursday, company party Friday, Parent's party Saturday, having Christmas with David's family Sunday, and School party Tuesday. Not sure if we will make all of those events.

We have one this saturday. My hubby and I work together so it's with all our work friends. We rent a place and all bring food, eat, drink and play games of some variety. This year they've instituted a dress code too. The girls are all supposed to wear a LBD (little black dress) and the guys are going to have an ugly Christmas sweater contest. :)
